'NPCs encountered, please wait.'

Does anyone get this message in their game? I'm wondering what mod causes it and really would like to find a way to tone it down if at all possible. Here is my load order.

Powered Power Armor. If you absolutely hate it, use the crash fixer .esp, the messages will go away, but no NPCs in PA will explode in glorious nuclear fire and they'll be no lootable upgrades.

IoTP is working on a alternate solution as we speak, I am confident in his abilities as a modder to get it done.

You can use a program called WinGrep to search through all the files for that phrase.

Sorry about that. My mod does something called a "reference walk" that steps through all of the NPCs in the currently loaded cell, checks to see if they're wearing power armor, and if they are, adds upgrades and the detonation tokens. It's done in lieu of redoing the NPC inventory leveled lists, which would be a headache plus cause compatibility problems with other mods. A quirk of the engine was causing NPC AI to hang up whenever I changed their inventories during gamemode, so I added that load screen to create a moment of menumode in which to conduct the ref walks.

In the version of PPA that I'm working on now I've eliminated the need to conduct the ref walks during menumode, thanks to help from Cipscis, Pkleiss, Bonedog, and others. The only issue that remains now is stability, but its been working very well for me in my play tests. I think I may put the rest of my planned changes on hold, finish up the Energy Pulse Generator, and release. Hopefully my current solution prove as stable for others as it has for me, otherwise I'll probably end up going the leveled list route.

Thanks for the info guys, and thanks for making an extra ESP to disable that part Imp. I was crashing a lot in the mall (probably because of all the BoS there) and that fixed it.

Least I have most of my upgrades. I'll miss the exploding Enclave though :(
