NPCs fearing and respecting you

I remember back in Daggerfall one of the main story quests an NPC told me I better not mess with them because they were a member of the Knights of the Dragon even though I was already the highest rank attainable with them. At the time this was annoying but of course the game had countless various knight factions and such. A lot of that aspect was fixed in Morrowind and even more in Oblivion where they at least address you as Sir or what not. However, in Skyrim I would like to be able to if I come across a lower ranking member of my faction if not on a quest or orders them to be ready to serve and order around or if I am head of the faction override any quest they might be on and send them to do something else or maybe just shine my boots because I'm the boss.

What really bothered me in Both Morrowind and Oblivion was that if someone did not like you reputation wise despite them being a ordinary townsfolk and you some high level demon slayer decked out in expensive armor they'd give you a rube angry response no matter how low of a peon they were. Regardless of being evil or good the fact that your are someone important and they're not and you could give them a beating or worse without ease it seems reasonable that there should be some type of intimidation factor when dealing with NPCs. I mean in medieval days some peasant might hate a lord or king but not dare speak out against them to their face. I think this should be even more so if you are an evil character with a violent reputation, some NPCs should be visibly shaken and scared while speaking to you.

I also think guards even if you have killed someone in public right in front of them if you are way higher level and they can t ell they are outmatched they should give some hesitation before moving in on you or go get some back up before confronting you.

I want real time intimidation skills. Make those peasants run away peeing their pants. They really annoyed me in Oblivion's towns.

In Oblivion, even though the persuasion wheel had 4 different approaches (5 with bribe), they just served to either increase or decrease a person's disposition. This is a one dimensional approach.

I liked how in Morrowind you could gain information through a person by intimidating them, while they liked you less for it, they still gave you what you needed.
With the extent of voice acting in Oblivion though, I can see why they chose to simplify it.

I would like voices to be consistant though, so if a person is angry they won't switch to neutral if you ask them about rumours.

If you are known to be a criminal, why would they want to talk to you in the first place? I'd close my shops all doors and windows if I saw an infamous criminal walking down the streets. With real time dialogue they could run away if you manage to start a conversation. But there should be a disguise option in Skyrim, so that you change clothing and personality before entering towns that know you by name and rumour way only.

I want people to respect and fear you, but not like "OH MY GOD IT'S THAT GUY I'VE HEARD OF! LET'S SURROUND HIM LIKE A PACK OF RETARDS" or "Ahhhhhh! I'M SO SCARED! Hey, guy I'm trying to avoid out of fear! Look how scared I am!" It gets kinda ridiculous like that in games. I just want people celebrating you as you enter a store or pub, and greeting you heartily, or just not saying anything to you and backing away/walking off if they fear you.
