NPCs randomly kneel in fear

Post » Sun Jun 22, 2014 9:32 pm

All of a sudden NPCs in cities started randomly kneeling in fear, like effect from mod "Run For Your LIfe". I turned this mod off along with "When Vampires Attack", but it still happening. Some just kneel and tremble for a long time, others kneel for a moment and move on. They do this with no fighting around.

Help ><

Run for your life script stuck in save

Probably that's the case here...

-------------

The author say this: This mod has no continually updating scripts so the contamination of your save game will be minimal.

However, you could try this:

Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) Get it from here: (http://skse.silverlock.org/) / Download the .exe version.

After the installation has been finished, create the folder SKSE inside your DATA folder. It should be like this:(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE)

Open the SKSE folder, create a SKSE.ini *** file and copy this in it:

[General]
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

Save & exit.

----------------

*** How you make a skse.ini file:

If you create a new document with Notepad its file extension will be ".txt". You'll have to change it to ".ini". If you don't see the file extension it means your operating system is hiding it.

Unhide it first. When you turn it into an .ini file you should automatically see the icon change (it's a text document with a blue gear). Also its file type description will no longer say it's a text file but a configuration file.

---------------------

When you run Skyrim you'll need to start it using the SKSE launcher, not the normal Skyrim launcher. (You should have a shortcut on your desktop with the name: Skyrim (SKSE) )

So, if you start skyrim from this shortcut, It will now clean invalid scripts from mods you don't use anymore from your save game. It will take a while and only works as you play.
