Is there a list of mobs out there with grand souls? Or do they only appear once you are at a certain level? In Skyrim, only a select few mobs are set for Grand Souls (high leveled Draugr Deathlords, and Mammoths I believe are the only ones), but I never set out to capture souls in Oblivion before, so it's a little new to me.

I would not want to waste my Grand Soul Gem on anything lower than, well, a Grand Soul.

According to the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Souls there are three enemies in Oblivion with fixed Grand Souls: Lich, Minotaur Lord and Xivilai. It sounds as though the chance of finding other Grand Souls are leveled.

Yes, that is a fabulous link that Shelly provided. The only thing I'll add is that there is a grand soul out there you can get at level 1 if you have the stones for it. Azura's quest gives her soul gem, tho you probably know that

As you level up, you'll encounter plenty of Grand Souls. High level ogres and goblins have grand souls, for instance.

You'll also start finding more and more grand soul gems as loot, although, as Lady Magpie suggests, Azura's Star is a good thing to have, especially if you are using souls to recharge weapons.
