Exactly as AinurOlorin said.

It is almost as if we jump on any little possible thing and raise the scandalous "six alarm", likely because we as a society we are publicly sixually repressed and censored. Like he said, the whole forbidden fruit mentality. sixuality is thoroughly ingrained deep into our instincts through Darwinian means in order to ensure our survival. It is essential and natural. I don't understand why it's such taboo, why the medeival "six is sin" outlook still exists at all.

There's just no way to say what I need to say here without breaching, if not the rules, then the tone and etiquette of the forum.

I'm just going to throw out the idea that Victorian neuroses and baseless, irrational and psychologically unhealthy fear of the natural human form might not be the best cornerstones of good world / narrative design and might serve to inhibit the experience of some players.

Yeah I'll just leave it at that I think.

I would like to see a house full of naked women and men!

Everyone spends their free time there, and so will I.

Edit: Or better yet. Some people are against nudity. If the Bethesdateam would put a house full of naked men and woman in the game I am one hundred percent positive that everyone would go there!

I wouldn't.. even.. think.. about wasting developer time on this.. seriously? There's just going to be 900 mods made for it within the first 2 days the game is released.

I'd rather that nudity just be made available in mods. I'm still a minor (for another year) and my family would most certainly not appreciate there being naked women in the game. Added to the fact that my little sister watches me play a lot and nudity is a recipe for disaster.

To put it simply, adding nudity to the game would limit Skyrim's potential market. I started the Elder Scrolls back when I was twelve with Morrowind, but I'd never of had that opportunity if nudity had been included in the game. Just remember the reaction towards the topless woman in Oblivion's game files. Bethesda doesn't cater only to advlts, and it'd be fiscally (and socially) unwise to introduce nudity into the Elder Scrolls now when modders can so easily add it and save Bethesda from any bad rep that might otherwise accompany the utilization of nudity.

Just a note: There's nudity in Daggerfall.

Also, as has been stated before, your family appreciates you breaking necks, slashing people to pieces and burning them alive, but you only go to hell if you see nipbles?

I SERIOUSLY wonder what the hell is going on wherever you live. That way of thinking usually gets people in an insane asylum (and i wish i was kidding about that). Though i guess if those "moralists" had their way they'd teach children how to fire a gun before they teach them the difference between the male and female genders.

I don't see anything being added to the game by nudity, nor do I see it at all necessary in any circumstance. The only possibler outcome I can see is a game classification nightmare. So no.

BTW, I do agree with people on the whole 'killing people is worse than seeing people naked', but y'know, game censors don't really think that way so much and it a lot of other people (parents especially), seem to have it the other way around for an inane reason. So we're going to just have to live with this strange order society has these things in.

Too bad most americans have been brainwashed with puritan views on morality from childhood - wether they're religious or not they just see nudity as shameful and then make up a bunch of [censored] as to why it would be bad. Unfortunately, I doubt these forums are the medium through which you could possibly hope to make any changes to such fundamentally rooted values. Oh well, there will be mods at least.

The Witcher 2 doesn't seem to have many problems in that regard

I don't understand why people are talking as if dozens of nvde mods pop up days after release, other than the tasteless ones targeting female chests don't most of the actually serious body improvement mods take months/years to appear? (Also, some of those mods being popular on fan sites isn't always sixual. They fix many issues with the default models.)
