You haven't talked to certain of the companions in depth have you? You can also find a number of disturbing scenes while exploring various locations.

No, but then I shouldn't have to speak to every single person if I expect to get the general impression that the wasteland is an awful place.
That's the problem with the dog, when he's not wearing anything, you can't concentrate ...

Did you speak with Mama Murphy at the very beginning of the game? What's happening with her is pretty awful. Have you seen some of the ways the skeletons are posed in various locations while exploring? Many awful impressions there. Have you overheard some of the conversations of many of the raider NPCs when visiting locations they frequent? The impressions are everywhere.
wow page 6 already...i wonder what is the most viewed/commented item in fallout 4 not posted by moderator.
Oblivion was originally manufactured as a T-rated game, but I think it was because of a certain scene with Martin Septim that made it into an M-rating.
Fallout 3 possessed explicit examples of debauchery, like the Tenpenny Tower and Paradise Falls. (The same was provided in F:NV.)
Skyrim was mostly devoid of the topic, but the snow elves and Dragonborn DLC did possess slavery. (Lusty Argonian Maid doesn't really count)
And here we have Fallout 4, where slavery is practically never seen, and the closest thing to sixual content I've seen so far is the lover's bonus and the sixual innuendos provided by mannequins, skeletons, and teddy bears.
It's sort of like a "where has the all the rum gone?" feeling.
Nudity is important, because if you can't see the [censored], you don't know who to shoot, and then you have to do those damn dialogs to figure out whether you like or don't like ...
I voted no.
I haven't read a single reply. I just wanted to give my honest opinion on this and move along.
I don't like games or movies with nudity in them. If I want to see that stuff, there's a billion different options on the net.
I think it's a waste of time and resources to put it in a game. I'd much rather have another Antagonizer vs. Mechanist type quest than have fake love making scenes with Piper.
six in the form of entertainment is a scam, especially in video games. So is vulgarity. You can tell your gory story without being indecent about it. It makes for a much better story in my opinion.
As Drayton Sawyer once said, "You have one choice boy, six or the saw. six is, well ... nobody knows. But the saw ... the saw is family."
Synths are slaves. Caits background covers all basis, and a gunner quest covers one of them aswell. Its more subtle, but its there. What Martin Septim scene?
Ah, the good old "M for Immature" argument. "It's M! Let's throw in nudity, cursing, and Moar Gore! Because we think that makes things advlt!"
Eh, even ignoring that - Bethesda isn't Rockstar. They don't seem to have any particular need/desire to push envelopes, push buttons, or gain publicity by inflaming the Moral Majority. So I don't see them going there, ever.
(Also, just because something is M rated, doesn't mean it has to push all the way to the boundaries of that rating in every way. Just like there's a wide range of movies in the R rating.)
Why do you demean people that disagree with you?
When Fallout 4 started ... "Not another one where you have to conquer the world for some female ... oh, she gets shot, that's nice ... oh, it's about the kid. why not?!" Witcher 3 is ridiculous! So is the movie "Cloverfield (2008)" where the boys have to beat disastrous odds to find a girlfriend like some date. So is the movie "Tears of the Sun (2003)" where a group of soldiers can't say no to ridiculous female attraction.
If you want nudity in Fallout, you should also reduce female's fighting skill to zero, so they'll have reason to use their illusive attraction instead! It might be fun to blow some of their heads off! Since we're not getting soft on the killing, are we?
Generation 3 Synths are slaves, but Generation 1 Synths aren't or at least most aren't. There has to be a certain level of complexity for a bunch of circuits to be sentient. There is a huge difference between a robot that we control with our computer or remote control and an android that can comphrend their own existence and rebel against their human masters.
This reminds me of the Flesh and Blood episode from Star Trek: Voyager. A bunch of holographic former slaves free a crew of primitive holograms that couldn't understand that they were free or much else besides simple commands.
If a Synth has desires and beliefs, then they are a slave, but if they can only follow simple commands, then they are a tool. Although, it does raise the question about whether Codsworth and Curie are slaves or tools depending on how the Sole Survivor treats them. 200 years of experience might be enough time to convert a tool into a slave,
Yes! I was in Massachusetts State House an evening or so ago and it was definitely quite creepy in there. It kind of reminded me of Lovecraft the way everything just kept building up and up and all those scratching noises.
I agree about him/her having a point. All the more gore, more six, more nudity, etc. does seem marketed to mostly attract the juvenile male crowd. Bethesda has a much wider audience than the games that cater primarily to that market.
Only if it is done in a mature way... not a 'ooo! boobs!' kind of way...
Actually the skeleton placement reminded me.
In West Everett Estates I saw remains in the shower with a dried pool of blood. There was a knife there, so I can only imagine someone committing suicide due to some prior horrible event.
I doubt that the removal of gore would attract any new players, but would probably discourage many existing ones. The addition of nudity would likewise attract few new players to the game, but would have the potential to drive away current fans as evidenced by the significant (35%) number who voted 'no' on this poll. I don't see an upside to the inclusion of nudity from Bethesda's perspective.
