Oh society is pretty much sick to the core, and has been for some thousand years by now. Only difference being, that in earlier times, they didn't see the need to cover it up quite as much.

Anyways, to all those who wants nudity because of "realism and it is natural" It's a game. And the perspective of the game is neither realism, nor nudity for the sake of it. It doesn't serve a purpose as far as the scope of the game goes. I would be all for it, if it served a purpose, but it doesn't, in any meaningful way, regarding the story and the world of FO4. I dunno about the rest of you, I play to be entertained and to a degree escape the real world for a moment. I don't need to drag anything into a game, because it is how it is in the real world, and because, it is M rated or whatever. Those things can wait until I'm done playing.

I honestly do not care if Fallout 4 had nudity in it, but I see nothing wrong with it. I always liked how Daggerfall handled it. It was down without being over the top.

They might be talking about when console mods finally become available. There are mods out there that are far worse than nudity mods. Sony and Microsoft certainly won't let those mods on their systems.

games are seemingly going in 2 directions stylisation and realism. which direction do you think fallout will go honestly?

Full female nudity (male is strangely acceptable) would tempt the AO rating being stamped on their game and I doubt they would risk that so you can see some pixilated private parts.

Personally I think games are too tame in the six and violence category but I could care less about video game boobies.

Well, it is a shooter for one, so blood splatter is pretty much par for the course. The extreme gore is there to, I think, take out the realism in it. If people died and bleed like in real life, well, you can see where that is going....I hope.

Halo is a shooter and doesn't have blood (at least not the new one).

Never bought a game for the nudity and never will, it's one of those things that I couldn't care less if it's there or not. And let's not pretend that the whole nudity thing is something else other than "Bewbs!", because it usually only applies to females, of all the games that I've played that have nudity in them, the most you can see of a male is the ass.

It's funny that when many people request that there be nudity in games, they are speaking primarily of female nudity. Many women happen to play Bethesda's games as well and are kind of tired of the concept of men always being fully dressed and armored while women are wandering around hapless and naked if not outright exploited. I suppose if *everyone* were wandering around everywhere naked, it would be fine, but I really don't see the point. It's not why I play Bethesda's games.

Well, then the developers saw no need for it. I can't answer what agenda's various developers have with their games. There isn't a formulae that fits all.

Anyway, I like we can mod it in as we wish, that way it isn't just naked girls everywhere like most people here seem to want, there's something for us as well as the guys because we are able to add it in at will.

The Witcher alienates females...can't really get into that world, just makes itself clear it isn't for me, but being able to mod things in as with Bethesda games is much more welcoming.

What purpose would you like nudity should fullfill in a game like FO4? As I said earlier in the thread, I don't mind nudity if it has a purpose, other than "realism and natural" Because that is not the scope of the game.

As for why other shooters don't have it or have it, look to my answer further up.

That's half-true as I can't put on a furious power fast and splatter ghoul heads with it in real life.

I don't need violence to enjoy a game but I enjoy violent games and I'm a grown man. Nudity is a click away or a few dates away from hands on so it's kind of a silly thing to desire in a game...to each their own though so I voted yes.

Slavers may not be present in Fallout 4, but they exist. And Fallout 4 has plenty of horrific stories of what happens to human slaves.

One companion in particular has a backstory involving slavers that'll make you want to vomit a little in your mouth. It's some of the darkest stuff I've seen in any Fallout game. I'm surprised the game didn't get a Mature rating just for that story.

Truth be told there is no need for either, but it is nice to have it in a game. I love seeing blood flow as I get the perfect head shot. And if I take everything off a dead man after looting his body then I expect him to be naked because otherwise I obviously didn't take everything. Also I am sure certain characters would be more realistic with some nudity. Cait seems like the one to just say [censored] it and get nvde. She also seems the one who'd bust your teeth in for looking. Realism has a place in games. Double standards man.
