So.. i started making a nuka cola quantum lamp.
The basic idea i have is, that i will make a bottle resembling a nuka cola quantum one, then i will fill it with a light purple liquid, and backlight it with a batterpowered LED that i have seen at a shop somewhere. The light is a flat cylinder shape, and i will use it as a stand on which the bottle will stand. I may fail, or i may epic win, so bare with me.
Heres the stuff i used.
x1 250ml Coca cola glass bottle
x1 bottlecap (i used one off a beer bottle because the coke ones dont really look like fallout capz.)
x1 stanley knife
x1 Citrus cleaner
x1 http://whatpayne.deviantart.com/art/Nuka-Cola-Quantum-label-106603029 (Thanks to WhatPayne for the label) Print this in [ 4 x 6 Cutout prints ] size on picture manager, so it fits nice.
x1 steel wool.
x1 and 1/2 glasses of undiluted blue cordial (apparently this can cause mould so use blue dye and water of the same amount if you're concerned)
x2 drops of red food dye
1x silver sharpie / paint.
1x squeeze of pink highlighter ink
1x Flat LED light, (I used one called the OSRAM Dot-It)
1x Stick of blu tac
Heres how to make one
1. Clean out bottle and wash outside so it is very clean.
2. scraqe off the white 'coca cola' title and ingredients using the stanley knife. (Be careful to not scratch the bottle, though you can cover that later.)
3. Wash off any white paint specks with water, and check the inside for any you missed.
4. Use the steel wool to get any tough parts that wont budge (Though again, they can be covered up later.)
5. spray some citrus cleaner onto the steel wool then scrub off the used by dates and stuff on the neck and bottom.
6. Wash any citrus spray and muck off the bottle. (You may want to put it in the dishwasher for a couple of minutes so it is nice and clean.)
7. Paste the labels in the approptiate places. one on either side, with the ends of the labels about the same length apart.
8. leave for about 10 minutes to dry.
9. Colour the cap silver/grey with a silver sharpie or paint.
10. leave that to dry.
And theres the bottle pretty much finished. If the edges of the paper are a bit creasy, flatten them down to the best of your abillity. (but remember, Its post apocalyptia, its not sposed to look perfect.
Heres some pics of how im doing so far.

"Quantum contains dangerous amounts of sugar, and should not be digested under any circumstances." - Back of label. LOLOLOL
Please check back soon, coz i will be finishing the lamp very soon. And please remember that i am only a kid so go easy.
UPDATE 1:
Hey, i am now finished the bottle and drink!!
11. Now wrap the bottle in plastic wrap completely covering the labels. (this is so you dot get QUANTUM on them.)
12. Now to make the QUANTUM MIX!! :nuke:
Ingredients (You wont want to drink the mix though, "it is like downing a handful of sugar, then punching yourself in the face.")
1 cup of Blue cordial
1 drop of red food dye
1 squeeze of pink highlighter ink
Then pour the mix into the bottle carfully with a funnel
Keep making this mix and pouring till the bottle is just about full (Leave maybe an inch between the lid and the liquid.)
(You may want to experiment with different measurements untill you get the desired colour)
13. Now push the cap on. it should go on fairly easy.
AND THERES THE BOTTLE OF QUANTUM DONE!!!
If you made it right, you should notice the way the colours change from blue to violet in different lights and deeper in the bottle.
Next i will be finding a light to make the quantum GLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shocking:

EDIT: My quantum looks blue in the photos because the camera seems to capturing the purple as blue. ?? I am not sure why, but the real colour is just like the one in the game (If only i had a better camera...)
EDIT: I AM FINISHED :celebration:
Yes, it turned out great!! I found the LED at the hardware store, it is a dimmable one run on 3 AAA batteries.
14. Now make a long thin line with the blu tac, and put it around the rum of the LED light.
15. Place the bottle on top and adjust so that tapping the top of the bottle will press down on the lense and activate the light
16. Clean up the blu tac so it is un-noticable, and make sure the bottle is well stuck.
17. Test out the light in a cupboard or under a blanket, (OR if its night time OLOLOLOL) The light works in day time, but best at night.
18. YOU ARE DONE!!! WELL DONE you have made your own nuka cola quantum lamp!!
Usage: Tap the top of the bottle to turn the light on, tap again to dim, again to dim more, and once more to turn off.
