Badly the experience stuff doesn't work for me for quite a while now.
Even after a clean uninstall/install all it shows is the experience loading screen, but no window will open.
And I just updated to 358.87, therefore: d'uh!
Yeah it svcks and especially coming December.
We will no longer be getting drivers from the website, only through Ge-"forced" Experience software.
No worries, Guru3D will always feature mirrored http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-358-91-whql-driver-download.html for the latest available drivers, just like it has up until this point. This is also the reason why I included the same links in the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1543988-a-data-vault-of-tweaks-and-fixes-for-the-pc-version/ thread!
I keep getting an unauthorized access error off the Geforce guide link
The forum won't allow me to post links.
But try a search for the story title:
NVIDIA Release The Definitive Tweaking Guide For Fallout 4
Even the story's link to the Nvidia tweak Guide results in
Unauthorized Access
The game crashes to desktop after a random amount of time has passed and gives the following error message.
display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 358.91 stopped responding and has successfully recovered
I could be standing while staring at a wall or fighting a bunch of npcs, the moment of the crash seems completely random.

Settings:
As low as it can be / off on all settings.
Tried full screen / windowed, first day patch / beta patch, different drivers, computer restart, etc ...
Is it because my computer is not up to par? It's just weird because when it's not crashing, it's running at 60+fps idle and 30+fps when the screen gets busy.
Somewhat ridicuously, the game runs fine by disabling the GPU and running the game on Integrated HD4600.
Though dipping into 10fps and laggy as hell... still better than crashing.
I got it too... now if I could only get Steam to unlock the damn game. I have it pre-loaded and ready to go.
3 hours and 9 minutes..........*Heavy Breathing*
I go to work in 1 hour and 6 minutes! *Breathing stops*
I'll be playing it tomorrow unfortunately.
At least one person has reported CTDs with the latest NVidia driver.
If this happens to you, do a search on the faulting module name. You should wind up in the NVidia support forum.
Drivers that have proven to work with Battlefield 4 and Dead Rising are listed there.
Sometimes the latest is not the greatest. And video drivers are touchy.
