I have recently noticed that my computer was using the wrong graphics card the whole time I was playing Skyrim, so I switched from it's integrated Intel to my nVidia GeForce GTX 660M and I have an issue:
The transparent textures had a cloudy grey/black around them and some of the other "shadows" (not the ones made by objects, but those that are just shading the object itself), and they "flickered" from far away. There is nothing missing like some videos I have found. It also worked (and still works) fine on the integrated Intel card. On the nVidia, it also has a black stripe on the right side of the screen when viewing a light surface like snow.
Is there any fix for this, or is it a problem with the graphics card? Do I need a new nVidia graphics card?
