NVIDIA OpenGL Driver cannot be found - Any news?

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:14 am

Is there any news on an update to fix the NVIDIA OpenGL Driver cannot be found problem?

I really would like to start playing this game, but having that crash issue lingering over it has basically put the entire game on the back burner for me.

Some acknowledgement on the developers part would be nice, or some insight as to whether this is going to be fixed anytime soon before the games dies off and nobody plays online anymore.

Cheers

If you're getting this specific error while launching the game then you either don't have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed, or your graphic card is obsolete and the drivers available for it don't have support for the OpenGL 3.1 that the game requires.

No, it crashes during the game.

I have two 570 GTXs in SLI, I have the latest drivers installed. Never before seen this error, not once in any game. But then I guess it's the first Open GL 3.1 game I have ever played on here.

I've been running into this same problem, although I've had some good luck running the 266.58 drivers (drivers before the latest).

In the Mobility ATI HD Radeon the issue was similar, almost for every Mobility ATI,and the solution for most of us (after much research may i add) was this, try previous drivers.

I finally run a game with a Catalyst version completely different from another guy,so i'm just saying trying different drivers may help u in the end.

Good luck.
