Hello, i'm trying to install new Vegas script extender but am running into a small problem. I'm at the point where i have to copy the files from WINrar to the directory (or whatever its called) but cant seem to find the directory. I don't have windows 7 so none of the videos on you tube help me and i also have new Vegas for PC on disk running through steam. I already have the mod manager installed too. Can anyone help me? :sadvaultboy:

Go to your Steam directory. If you don't know what that is, use your operating system's search feature to find it. The FalloutNV directory is under 'Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas'.

Note that the videos on youtube almost certainly are not Windows 7 specific. The default install directory is the same under Windows 95 as it is on Windows 7, and everything they tell you to do should work just as well on Windows Whatever You've Got as on Windows 7.

ok i found /common/falloutnewvegas but only important thing there is data. is that the directory?

You want to put it in Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\, not the Data folder. The "fallout new vegas" folder should contain a Data folder, plus a FalloutNV.exe and some other DLLs.
