Is there some specific reason you're using OBGE instead of http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45749/?? OBGE is no longer being updated and Reloaded is the successor.
can you tell me how the wayback machine works
every time I try to open a website, I get a calendar and I'm stuck there.
simply because i didnt know
i dont want to restart my game (save) and reinstall nehrim so i'll just stick with OBGE for now =) its an old game, i;ll use what i got
thank you, i turned off SSGI and am using HDAO and Volmetric_SSII
You don't have to restart the game!
Just uninstall OBGE and install Oblivion Reloaded and you can keep your savegame.
i just dont want to screw anything up... is it that much better? can it work with Nehrim?
Its certainly much faster and lighter on systems resources, but tbh I wouldn't mess with my game either....
As for the shaders you might want to check new Godrays v7 shader - http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1507792-godrays-v07-update/
It can work with Nehrim (I use it too), but since the author has not yet released a "Nehrim" esp, you need to make a little change with the CS. Nothing difficult.
Consider it a little extra work, but for a muuuuuch greater payback.
It has many improvements over OBGE:
- It is about 4 times faster and lighter than OBGE
- Support AA, as opposite to OBGE
- Remove the Vanilla limitation HDR + AA
- Add/fix many new great shader, like the snow, blood, grass and rain shaders.
- Fix the Vanilla bugs with Windowed Mode. Now you can ALT+Tab out of Oblivion and the top bar has been removed.
- Fix the Vanilla bugs with FOV
- Many other improvement and fixes
- It is supported and updated (while OBGE is completely abandoned)
I guess you should consider the idea of replacing OBGE with OR (which is OBGE successor, anyway).
The update is painless, and many (if not all) shader settings can be ported.
