Hi All,
I realise there hasn't been any movement on the OBGE front for a couple of years now but I was wondering if there's anyone around who can shed some light on the GroundFog.fx shader that is bundled with the last update made to OBGE's LOD replacer, found here: http://code.google.com/p/oblivion-graphics-extender/downloads/list
It seems that this should work and provide a very nifty 'radiation fog' effect when used as per this old post and these screens:

Thing is, no matter what I do, I have never been able to get GroundFog.fx do have any visible effect in my game. I've tried adding it to my shaderlist.txt, and it does compile. I've also tried messing around with it using the OBGE developer window but to no avail. Setting the fog distances to crazy values in the All Natural .ini doesn't seem to make any difference to the visivility of this effect either. My OBGE set up (liquid water etc) is working fine, but this effect has always eluded me...
Does anyone know what I'm missing here? Is anyone still around from those heady days of OBGE development (before Skyrim ruined EVERYTHING ) who got this shader to work, or who can remember how to make it work?
Any help or insight would be appreciated!
Thanks!
