Object unselectable in GECK

Post » Tue Jun 08, 2010 11:46 pm

Hey,

I've just got my first custom model into the GECK (a fridge!), however when I went to move it in the render window it's as though it doesn't exist. I click right through it. The only way to select it in the render window is by dragging a selection box around it, but that only selects it - the drag cursor never appears. I also got this error when dragging it from the object window the render window:

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

That sure sounds like you need to change your root node (node 0) to a BSFadeNode. Try selecting the root node, then Block --> Convert and select Bethesda --> BSFadeNode.

In blender, during export - there is an option named: Use BSFadeNode Root. Enabling that resolves the problem. Not sure which package your using, but there should be something similar.
