Cliffworms: Are there patches planned for Better Cities and DLC KnightsofTheNine? I have been wanting to play this (love your great mods, starting from Better Letters!), but haven't started the KOTN quests with this character...
EDIT: Also, another query - I have http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16815, which also includes Knights of Kynareth and a whole monastery based in the city of Sutch (which is from TES Lore, just not included in Oblivion by Beth). Should there be a compatibility patch for consistency between your knights and those of Sutch - BTW, those knights from Sutch look terrific in their blue armor...
Yes the patches are planned.
Thanks for letting me know about Sutch's Knights of Kynareth. I'll ask the author if we can make a file that puts these knights in the same faction as the Kynaran Order in Losing My Religion.
For the armor, I think we both havehttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5389
Not sure about KotN, but the only Better Cities conflict I've found is in Bravil near the Lonely Suitor Lodge. It can be easily fixed through removing the Bravil worldspace record from Losing My Religion using TES4Edit. The problem is that the statue itself and the base that holds it are two different objects, so the statue is in the wrong place and not on its base. Deleting the Bravil worldspace record will simply restore the default statue of Mara and remove the new statue that's placed, so it will blend in seamlessly.
Oh that's how it's possible then. I'll try it out thanks Itachi!
Ah, thanks for the clarification, wasn't sure if it was Dibella or Mara, but I definitely remembered those dancers at the temples. Not too interested in Caudus Liore, I'm afraid, but I may talk to the other one and see what she has to say.
I'll definitely be watching this one and hoping for a patch or compatibility update for KOTN. On the other hand, I've already completed it with a retired char, and I can't say I'm a huge fan of that questline, so I probably wouldn't mind skipping it with my new char. The only problem is, I'm not sure it's safe to disable it from a game in progress..? I'm guessing, it probably would be a big deal since I think I've only talked to a couple of NPCs about the Chapel attack but haven't talked to the Prophet, though I think I have gone into the chapel once.
That being that, I guess the main issue remaining for me is Kvatch Rebuilt... I would really hate to remove it from my Load Order b/c I like that mod. Any chance of future compatibility with that or is the conflict too much to fix? Perhaps a workaround would be to add O-LMR after finishing the part of the KR quest dealing with the conflicting cave?
If you have not done anything related to the KOTN questline, you can unload it from your game. But, you see, the only conflicts is in the Anvil chapel. When it is destroyed, you'll still see my worshippers walking around and the decoration will clip with my new ones. Other than that, I don't see another conflict.
I'll try to fix the Kvatch issue as well. Anyone knows how to work this issue? Kvatch Rebuilt adds a cave south-east of a fort placed by LMR. But both mods have changed the landscape in this area and so there is severe clipping of objects. Would it be more preferable to move Kvatch Rebuilt's cave, or move LMR's fort? (I'd personally think the cave, since I have less pieces and less waypoints to move)
Glad to find this, I remeber the WIP from a few months ago and I had really hoped it would be released. Ive just watched the trailer and Im downloading as I speak just one comment, the deities seem a bit too....uh roman or classic, especially compared with how the daedra look. Dont get me wrong I think they look great Its just I was a bit taken aback that they seem to be all wearing flowing robes and saintyl poses. I guess you wanted to do a more classic look but I had figured that for Diabella you might go for a more uh heathen look with dancing wenches like in Daggerfall, or at least a Cult of Aphrodite kind of look with flowing waterfalls and cristaline marvel walls, or a more God of War look for the temple of Talos...Its just a comment and I hope I havent offended you in any way becasue I ever so gratefull for this anyway
No offense taken, no worries. It takes a LOT to make me offended.
The statues are the same as the ones in the Imperial City Arboreteum, only with a reflective golden touch to them. There are things I can't change because I don't have any modeling skills. If I could, I would have removed the catholic cathedrals and replaced them with a more unique building.
I do like the statues though. They look a lot like their Daggerfall's counterparts in terms of clothing and pose.
Regarding Dibella, Dibella has around 12 Cults, each dedicated to a specific beauty. But the main building is an House. So what you see in Anvil is several people from various Cults. You have the two erotic instructors from the physical beauty cult and there's alone one doing paintings.
The Order of Talos has statues of warriors and emperors, the School of Julianos has all these big bookshelves and desks where the people can read, etc.
Thanks!
