I don't know if this count but I've 3 copies of Oblivion and one patched copy so to speak.

Oblivion Collectors Edition
Oblivion GOTY
Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition

Patched Oblivion >> Oblivion Collectors Edition with the 1.1 patch, KoTN+DLC and plus the 1.2 patch, Shivering Isle (separate) into a 1.2.0.416 patched Oblivion GOTY.

Any chance of seeing the artwork mirocu? Kind of interested in that.

On topic I only got 1 copy of Oblivion, 1 SI Disc, & 1 KoTN dlc. Like pseron I bought a boatload of Morrowind discs for xbox & pc thanks to losing my house in a fire. Probably spent between 300 and 500 bucks. Now I have my copies in a fireproof box with all important documents lol.

Not by me unfortunately as I don′t have a camera. But you should find it through google or by searching on a website that sells games.

Darn I'm going home tonight straight from uni otherwise I could have taken a picture of the inside of the box for you. I'll be re-united with the game on monday night so if you haven't found a picture I'll take one for you

Did similar to Acadian, and bought plain Oblivion, and then added SI later. The KotN boxes had disappeared from the stores by the time I considered it, and I decided that I might as well create any further additions myself. Since I have multiple machines, the main Oblivion disk stays in the drive (the read-only one of the two on that box), and I play older games (e.g Daggerfall) on older machines.

Just Oblivion. I wanna get GotY at some point, since it comes with Shivering Isles.

Yea that would be cool. I'm sure I could hunt them down but slogging through rule 34's & bad fan art in GIS for a couple of pics is something I would like to avoid.

I have one copy. It lives in one of the two optical drives on my game PC, and rarely comes out. I also have only one copy of Morrowind, and no more than one copy of any other game I've ever bought. I don't need "backups."

I have never had a CD or DVD fail, be it game, music, or film. I've rarely even had a need to wipe one off. Part of it is probably the fact that there are no kids in the house. But I'm very careful about how I handle them, and this, I think, is because I grew up with vinyl phonograph records (I have a modest collection of classical LPs dating back as far as the late 50s.)

On the other hand, I've had hard drives fail regularly. My Mac (my "work" system) gets backed up hourly. My PC (my "play" system) doesn't get that kind of attention, but it gets done occasionally.

I for one don′t trust discs so I always want backups. And maybe I′m just not as careful as you since my first copy started to act funny and wouldn′t let me play unless I jiggled with it. Not physically though :P

This.
I've actually moved the entire game install to an SSD, partly for this reason. I also have an external flash drive that I robocopy the entire installation and all of the saves and .ini files to at least once a day...

A very good idea. I do it too but only the saves, that′s what′s most important to me. I don′t have much computer trouble anyway and if something were to happen then it′s no big deal reinstalling the mods and such.

Thanks for posting those. I don't remember seeing the Blades guy before. He looks like Jack Nicholson in The Shining. Keep him away from the bars.

I bought it this week together with Fallout 3 GOTY & FONV ultimate on PC.

I'm still on 360, but that's gonna change... in the future.

It's well worth getting. I got the GotY on PS3 before getting a PC that could handle it. Just don't for get about the "Incurable Vampirism" bug.

I need help? My crappy laptop can barly handle FO3 & FONV, but Oblivion works fine... the only problem i'm having is that my anolog camera stick don't work like it does with FO3 & FONV on PC... i have a microsoft 360/PC controller... do you know a mod that will fix that?

What do you mean? Like 3rd person vanity mode? Not too familiar with camera mods but if you hold down the 'toggle 1st/3rd person mode' button you can get the angle you want with the mouse. If you just mean zoom in and out then just use the mouse wheel.

I have several copies for the PS3 and Xbox and one for the PC (although I have never really used that one). Probably five or six copies in total. No way of knowing for sure. I think they are all GOTY copies.

I did not discover TES until 2009 and I liked Oblivion so much I bought extra copies just to have a back-up in case something happened to the disc. It was an old game then so I was worried that at some point it would be hard to come by. Was not expecting a 5th anniversary edition to be comming out. Also I needed copies to play on my PS3 on weekends and Xbox during the week.

Someday I am going to figure out how to use Xpadder and then maybe I will start playing it on a PC.
