Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:46 am

This one came from out of left-field. Apparently Beth are releasing a special edition version of Oblivion, again, which includes all the original CE goodies, as well as a $10 discount on Skyrim when it releases.

Good news for collectors!

EDIT: On second thoughts, this svcks for collectors. To get to that coupon you'd have to OPEN the package! That's going to be a tough decision... :P

Although I would like all the CE goodies, I don't see a point in buying it when I get three extra things and a coupon the I probably will not be able to redeem.

It probably won't even be available in New Zealand, anyway :P

The Septim replica is missing from the list.

It's a shame if it doesn't contain it, but it's still a bargain for 30 bucks.

If it's available in Hungary, and contains every DLC, I will definitely buy it.

No Septim no dice.

Not to mention the fact that I've got two copies of Oblivion already.

Has it been 5 years already? I remember it as if it were yesterday. Stop making me feel old, Bethesda!

Looks like no Septim or Guide to the Empire. Unfortunate, but at least the Steel book looks nice.

CD Universe is shipping this international, if anyone outside the US wants one.

Thanks, just placed my order!

Looks like there isn't a septim or pocket guide, but I'm more interested in the rumours that they're only making 200'000 copies of this edition. I still have unopened copies of the Morrowind and Oblivion CE's, so this 5th Anniversary edition would look great alongside them!

Meh, I had map, pocket guide, making-of and a thick walkthrough in standard edition, it wasn't called CE.

It should at least be a deluxe edition with all of the DLC ala the Steam version which is available and $5 cheaper than the listed price of this package.

I'll pass, If it had all the DLC's and everything from the GOTY edition then I would possibly get it but it doesn't have that stuff so I'll say no.

It comes with a disc 1 and disc 2 (plus the bonus disc) so I think it might actually come with at least KoTN and SI.

I honestly don't know what they are talking about with it having "a septim". Could you enlighten me on this please

This would be a guaranteed purchase for me if it included the Septim, quite a shame it isn't listed. I noticed that escapist.com has an article specifying that the Horse Armor is included. If that's the case, I wonder if this edition will be like thehttp://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-IV-Knights-Nine-Pc/dp/B000JGU0VE, which included the Orrery, Mehrunes' Razor, and all the DLC housing as well.

The Collector's Edition of Oblivion had a Septim coin, if I'm not mistaken.

If it got the coin, and is available outside the US and Canada, I'll get it, if not, I'll just get the CE. :)

Looks like if you want to use the coupon you have too buy a strategy guide too... So pretty useless.
