happens , mine randomly died. Don't worry he should rise up from the grave.

NPC's randomly die all the time if they aren't essential.
The master Marksman trainer died in my Assassins game, to a group of bandits northeast of his camp. Not supposed to happen, but it does sometimes.

Who will clean your shoes? Probably the adoring fan, when he respawns and comes back to you in 73 hours. You'll be wishing he didn't.
