Oblivion is being an ass

Recently I have had troubles playing Oblivion, as in the game wouldn't go past the title screen into game play. So I thought after I did some tinkering, "Oh well, I guess I will reinstall Oblivion!" And I cheerfully went on my way to uninstall it without the thought that anything would go wrong and that the path would littered with leaping Unicorns and the corpses of the dead demons that I had killed from my DOOM play-through I did last week. But, Alas, It wasn't meant to be, for the Unicorns had run away, and the demons had been resurrected to torment me once again.

As it turns out Oblivion did not like it's uninstaller, and decided to delete it without me knowing, disallowing me to uninstall the game. So, in my uncomputerized mind I thought "Well okay, I will just delete the directory that corresponds with Bethesda, after I uninstalled Morrowind and saved My save files of course." And then after that long deletion process was over, I quickly found out that It was still in the installed Programs list. I thought: "Why would that be?" So after many googlings(googleings? sgnilgoog?) I found a little program that washed my troubles away: http://www.revouninstaller.com/. It whirled and whizzed and at last! Oblivion was uninstalled from my system just to find...

My Oblivion setup program won't start. *insert blood curdling scream and many-a-ripped out hair here* So does anybody have the answer to this confounding, transwarping question that is; Why. Won't. Oblivion. WORK!?
