Okay, first, this isn't my first time running the game, I played it before, it worked fine. I even tried the HP Print thing, still crashes.
This is what happens:
I press Oblivion, Start Menu appears, I press play, the black screen appears, then it crashes. The message says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly" has no information of what.
The recent downloads i've done, was HP Print, but that doesn't help. ALL my mods on the game, work, and had no problem, then it just started doing this, I used the "Can you run it?" posted on the "READ THIS FIRST" thread, it said, I can, it said Pass on everything descibed.

Help?

For starters:

Exit Oblivion, then try renaming or deleting the oblivion.ini file (...\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini)

Oblivion will then redetect hardware. It will also, probably, not recognize your video card and set everything to medium. Just change the settings according to what you think your card will support (You can always change them later)

If that doesn't help try a Vista clean Boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796/

Try turning off Xfire...Oblivion doesn't like it.

I've tried the Vista clean Boot, it doesn't help.

Also, on the deleting/renaming the oblivion.ini file, I've tried, and it still does nothing. - Helpful atleast
