im having troubling getting my game past a certain point. it is part of the main questline so....SPOILER ALERT

that out of the way, the quest were you have to escort the heir to cloud ruler temple. once the doors open and the heir + Jauffre go inside and the monk starts talking, the game automatically crashes in the middle of his speech (specifically right after the "the empire is in choas" part, like clockwork).

i dont have any unoffical mods (just the DLC stuff that came with the Steam version), i just did a clean install of windows a few days ago (for a different reason), so the only programs on my computer other than windows is skype and steam (and skype is turned off).

this isnt the only bug ive encountered. ive actuall experienced a whole laundry list of bugs, but most of them ive worked around in some way or more likely just gritted my teeth and bear it.

oh, and loading from an older save doesnt work and im running version 1.2.0416. a great game and all, but it is amazing how many bugs there are.
