Oblivion demo graphics

On the Xbox 360 Demo from Bethesda with the 6 chapters, where someone (I dont remember his name) introduce Oblivion with commentary.
But in the cell, there's dynamic soft shadows on the skeleton ribbons and on the cuffs ect.. But when I start a new game in the cell on PC as well, its much more brighter, and unrealistic. Theres also no dynamic shadows on the skeletons, on the cuffs or anythng.. only actor shadows. I'm just really wondering, how come that on the demo, the game is MUCH nicer. The enemy's healthbar is coloured after its health, like green on full, yellow on meduim and then red on low health. Also, the sounds are much more better and that.. Where the night elf talks about the kvatch thing in chapter 5, it sounds more better... and like from Morrowind. I really wish, that my Oblivion was like that.. but it actually became boring with no dynamic shadows, a non coloured health bar and boring other sounds.. Is there a way to get it like that? Do I just need to buy an Xbox 360 instead?

Edit: Also on the demo video, the AI was more better... like you were invited to a womans private room, where she used a bow, potion and paralyzed a dog. She also told you to get moving to Kvatch, where in Kvatch the Imperial Legions were also more liveable. Like Watch out! Cover me I got this one ect..

Yeah, the oblivion demo was great. The game came out very little like it, on any platform. I do believe we are close to getting full dynamic shadowing through the OBGE project, however.

The AI, though, they cut out because it was "too good", and ended up too unpredictable, which started fights it couldn't finish. I imagine ending up with a few essential actors killing everybody else within a 5 mile radius.

I want the demo game :( They can't just remove the belowed dynamic shadows and improved AI...

The shadows I can live without, but I'd love that AI.

Dynamic soft shadows were killing performance so they were axed. The real Radiant AI was toned down because the NPCs were killing each other and ruining the game.

Apparently, you couldn't have your cake and eat it too. :(

EDIT: holy thread necromancy, Batman! I was doing a search and this thread came up as one of the first threads, so I thought it was recent. My bad.
