Oblivion Demo

Post » Mon Sep 12, 2011 6:31 am

My little brother wants to see if Oblivion will run on his pc... the specs should be good enough too but he wants to try a demo for it before purchasing the GOTY deluxe from steam. Does anyone know if a downloadable demo exists out there because I can't find one on steam or anywhere else thanks.

I'm afraid Bethesda doesn't release demos of their open world games - they're extremely difficult to make and don't tend to do a good job of demonstrating gameplay.

oh ok thank you....I don't know his specs off the top of my head but he used canyourunit to check them and everything was in the green except Hardware T&L and vertex shader version so he might need a new video card ( I dont know though because a lot of games play fine on my laptop without those options either so I'd imagine his pc would play pretty ok)

Ok. I'll give you step by step instructions for xp. First go to the start button menu, then right click on MY COMPUTER and hit PROPERTIES. Then in PROPERTIES, it lists your processor and amount of RAM, please tell me those. go to the tab that says HARDWARE then hit DEVICE MANAGER. Here there should be a plus button group thing that says DISPLAY ADAPTERS. Click on it, and it should say what graphics card you have. If it says intel integrated, it surely is not good enough.
