I'm not allowed to vote because I've never gotten any special items. Which is actually kind of interesting because it shows how large this game is and how many ways a person can play this game for 4 1/2 years.

How would I rate the game? The vanilla edition "Good", the modded version "near-perfect" (I don't believe an actual state of perfection exists, but that's another matter).

Do I have Shivering Isles? You bet. I pre-ordered it and had it sent by overnight express, as I did with Oblivion itself.

Do I have the GOTY edition? No. We bought the original editions of everything. Three times, in fact.

Here's a few: the Escutchon of Chorrol, Mundane Ring, Ring of Perfection(that thing is beast), Ring of Wizardry, Ring of War.

Perfect
Yes
No
Every choice besides Fin Gleam

Oblivion is perfect in the sense, that I can play this game endlessly and will probably never get bored.

I always like to use sigil stones and other enchants on items, as I like to customize them a lot (as well as creating cool names for them).

although, i do miss the sort of excitement I always have (even to date) of when u find artifacts in Arena (yes TES 1). Not only are those items unique indeed and most powerful, but they have a sort of 'history' behind them, when u right-click on the items. I like writing histories for the artifacts' existence and miss this small detail in TES 5..

EDIT: Forgot to add that almost always I get two rings: Vitality and Mundane, so my Breton is actually immune to FOUR nasty effects.

No game is perfect haha so I just voted great there.
I have SI and GOTY although I have yet to do anything in the SI or KOTN quests haha.
I have obtained Goldbrand, Umbra, the Skeleton Key and many other artifacts in various playthroughs of the game, haven't gone searching for Fin Gleam at all.

I have them all. All. However, as you play more into the game, you might find better gameplay through not being the most powerful in the land. Just putting it out there.

Great, it would have been perfect if it wasnt so many crashes/bugs in the game, it makes me sad :<.
And no I don't have SI because I cant find anywhere to buy it nowadays, its only included in packages and stuff so I havent bothered to get it yet.

It's a great game, I have Shivering Isles and most of the DLCs(retail edition), and various characters I've created collectively have all except the Fin Gleam Helm as far as I can recall.

I agree, after a while, it gets boring being able to kill everyone/thing you see in one hit.

SI can be downloaded from the PS store and on whatever the X-Box 360 uses. I think my copy was bought at gamestop...

Ah. You can access the marketplace with a silver account I think, silver is free but you can't play most games on live, but you can still talk to people and download things. Don't quote me on that though

Yes, you can access Live with Silver. You cannot play any games online, and can't join parties, so only talking you can do will be in Private Chat. You can download stuff, but not demos.

You can get anything on ebay. I think it would be easy to find an item as popular as SI.

The game is great becaue nothing is perfect
I didn't get SI. I didn't need to because...
I have GOTY
And at the moment my main character doesn't have any special items so I just voted "any other" just because Ihad to put something to be able to vote. You should add "none" to the special items poll.

Voted "great". It's not perfect, but it could be with mods (for me). But I'm a console player so it'll always remain great to me. Which is fine.

Don't have SI, but I'll eventually get it.

Don't have GOTY, but my copy of Oblivion does have KotN.

I do have some special items, but none of the ones listed. Can't really think at the moment of any of them, though.

Good
Yes
No (I bought it the first day it came out...)
Other, because I have all of the ones mentioned above and then some more

I voted just "Good", because I personally think there are some serious flaws in the game that make it less of a perfect experience for me, especially when compared with Morrowind (no, no, I'm not trying to pick a fight here). It's still a good game that has kept me entertained on and off for 4 years, and with mods it's definitely deserving of the rating "Great". Still, I'd like to see more of that... feeling in it. I can't even explain, but the game just seems less compelling than Morrowind, for example. It's probably the Map Markers, which I made the mistake of using on my first playthrough, as well as quick travel. It seems too much like a game with them, and less like real life.
