Oblivion DLC Appreciation

I wanted to say that I am very impressed with this upgrade. I really like the castle and the fact that you can go up onto the walls. It is also got a lot of cool stuff like your own museum (stuffed animals). Your own guard, a stable and blacksmith just to name a few things.
It is too bad you can only hire the total of 5 guards (a captain and 4 men at arms) and that you can only have one follow you outside the keep and he can get killed very quickly. It would be great if he was only knocked out and get stronger as you level up. If you lose one of your men at arms in a fight, do they get replaced?

Also if you ever wanted to upgrade this add on Fighters stronghold. You could make it so there were villages and inns that were under your control around the castle. They could be along the road that the castle is and the road could extend into the next territory.
The villagers could work for you and pay taxis and you could protect them and their could be missions to protect them and the like. Maybe even upgrade the villages themselves as well as hire more troops to patrol. Or even add more villages to your domain.

You could even carry this idea over to Skyrim and try it their. What do you think?

I also like the Wizard's tower upgrade for the game. For one thing, on a clear day you can see a lot of the map on top of the tower. It is really cool. Also I like the fact that you can create familiars or summoned servants to help you in a fight. Just to name a few of the things I like. While it can be hard to get to the tower at first it is well worth it.

The Thieves Den DLC upgrade is also nice. I am still working with it but I do like what I see so far. One of the things that I like about it is the journal left by the captain, It was well made and had the feel that seemed to put you into the story like you are their. Also the way it was written seemed to also put you in his place like seeing it though his eyes.
The only thing that does not make since is how the Thieves den is found when compared to the journal. I mean, the captain and crew were trapped and never made it out. Then you just walk rite in and their it is. It just dose not seem to fit. But I loved the story.
O one more thing, I think I found a bug in the journals. If you bump into them(the books) you can make at least one of them be impossible to pick up or read.

These DLC's are cool.
