oblivion final rerun?

Post » Fri Jul 23, 2010 4:06 pm

martin septim --> dragonborn
uses amulet of kings , only known artifact of akatosh (except for either the greaves of the crusader or the cuirass of the crusader)
to transform into a giant dragon.... (and becomes one with akatosh)

and exactly how would it be impossible for the char in skyrim to become a dragon?

this could very well be the ending of skyrim, yet another char that's completely random in lore written out of the story by simply turn him into a giant dragon statue

maybe the before indestructable statue in the imperial city will crush at this event, and whatever place in skyrim you are at that moment will become the new spiritual center of tamriel
well outlined opinions please

It wouldnt be impossible, but it would be pointless. If you want to be a dragon, go play Divinity 2. Its actually not a bad little RPG.

the dragonborn is a dragon slayer.

a dragon slayer turning into dragon would be like luke going to the dark side to kill vader.

Here didn't transform into a dragon or become one with Akatosh. He just assumed the avatar of Akatosh to fight off Dagon. Dragon only in appearance, the price of which had him turn to stone.

Who said it was impossible to become a dragon? It's not.

People always bring up Martin as an example of a mortal turning into a dragon, but it's a terrible example. The best example is Tosh Raka.

"Since that time the cat-folk have tried to become the Dragons. Tosh Raka is the first to succeed. He is the largest Dragon in the world, orange and black, and he has very many new ideas."

okay guys sorry for the misunderstanding here the main reason of this post was left out originally, the edited version has it it's about the possibility of skyrim ending the same as oblivion with akatosh possibly fightin alduin.

I thought it was fun for a while, but it lacked in other areas and the gimmick wasn't worth finishing the game. I think it could be done better.

The best part of that game wasn't even the dragon parts IMO. the writing and dialogue were actually pretty good for a Euro RPG. I also enjoyed the mind reading mechanic.

Turning into a dragon wouldn't be impossible. But we do know we'll be able to keep playing after the main quest, which would be kinda hard if we were turned into a giant dragon statue, so it would have to be some other method.

Just wait until you play the actual game. There are lots and lots of info about the main story that we don't know yet, obviously.

you never saw one of those far sought movie's in which the hero finds out the actual bad-guy is his own split personality, (dragonballz to btw oh god now I can't think about the dragons in skyrim without thinkin about there ballz)
and since he is a god, why shouldn't they be able to have seperate body's ?

Real.....mature....moving on.

We don't care about "those other movies" or their endings and antagonists this is TES not dragonball Z also he is a god but that dosent mean he even has a body. He is simply energy and can assume any form he wishes.
