Last night I attenpted to load a saved game and once the red load bar reached completion the screen started to flicker and the video locked up. The sound seemed to continue however. I do not have HDR or AA enabled. I have disabled all mods and have updated to the most recent video driver. I can go back to an earlier saved game and resume without any issue, but if I save from that point and try to resume, the flickering issue returns. The problem seemed to begin when I could not fulfill the "Lifting The Veil" quest (Countess would not recognize I posessed the Draconic Madstone), but could be a coincidence tho.

I have scanned the FAQ at the top of the 1st page to no satisfaction, Any ideas?
