Oblivion GOTY DVD edition

Post » Wed Mar 11, 2015 2:54 am

Hi

My very old goty edition is starting to fail on me.

The DVD needs to be in dvd player while playing and it is scratched to death.

Is there any way that Bethesda will do the same as EA did with their old games.

Meaning, if you call the support line or write e-mail they will move the DVD version to origin - I did this with all my old Mass Effect games.

So any chance I could move it to Steam?

I seriously doubt they would do that but you might try resurfacing the DVD. Stores that deal in DVDs will do it for a couple of bucks and you may get some more life out of your disc. Either that or wait for a Steam sale. You can pick up Oblivion pretty cheap when it goes on sale.

If you are missing other TES games you could possibly get a good deal on the TES Anthology and with that you can either use the disk version of the game or the Steam Version.

The GOTY edition of Oblivion is usually pretty cheap on Steam. You could wait for a sale if you want to get it for just a few coppers.
