When i first started oblivion(goty on steam) it said something like "oblivion is detecting your video hardware" and then "video hardware not detected, quality settings are being set on middle"(the same happens after i delete the oblivion.ini) after that it just crashes in the launcher menu: "oblivion launcher stopped working". I already tried to install the newest video card driver, change the resolution or start from oblivion.exe, but that didnt help either :/ Im running windows 7 64 bit, geforce gtx570

The Launcher crashes??????? Wow.

Try firing off the oblivion.exe directly, see if that makes any difference. (Right click on it, and select "run as admin")

no, i still get the launcher window and it crashes
