[REL/WIP] Oblivion Graphics Extender

Post » Thu Feb 10, 2011 6:28 pm

I was trying to mess around with making a mirror in-game yesterday, and got it working by changing the global texture reflection.dds (which of course makes everything in the game reflect the same picture). I was wondering if it was possible through scripting to make the game switch the texture it is using for that (so, when I enter a cell with a mirror I could switch it to use the reflection texture for that mirror). I'm pretty sure OBGE can't do this at the moment (from looking through the functions), but if it can that would be great. And if it can't, do you think it would be possible to make something like OBGE do this?

Sorry I haven't replied to most people on the last page, answers for them take time and I'm in a bit of a rush. This one is more straightforward though:

Can't you specify a reflection map for a mesh, or does such a thing not exist? Also, perhaps NifSE has texture-swapping functions.
