ok so when im playing (im at the start )and i go into the sewers i get this warning "Oblivion has stopped working" and i have tried to do it several times and it still doesnt work can anyone help?

This would be why, the game will not run on any of the Intel video chipsets, they are too weak to run the game and do not have the required shaders to play the game. You would need to buy a new video card in order for the game to play properly. (Also please wait up to 24 hours before bumping a post)

o well that svcks i mean i can play for a little bit and yeah so is there any mods i can use to weaken the video quality and whats the cheapest one you can get and where? sorry to trouble you

How much are you willing to spend? And what Power Supply Unit do you have? (Wattage and Brand).

um im not sure cheap though ($20 just the cheapest one that will work) and how do i check my supply unit?

Well for the video card you will have to spend atleast $65+. And to check the PSU (Power Supply Unit) you need to open up the case of the PC and look at the sticker on the PSU itself. (Box with all the cables coming out of it). Make sure to get the brand name and the wattage.

http://www.oldblivion.com/may help with the latest drivers for your video chipset (you dont have a video card, just the onboard chipset). Also if in the future you decide to upgrade, a quick google search revealed that it has a decent 300W PSU. But I couldnt find if it was a slimline or standard ATX case. And to be honest, $65 for a video card is pretty decent for a mid range one. (Mine were about $200 each for reference)

Oldblivion is an altered file that "fakes" the game into thinking that you have the right hardware. It wont look too good, but it may work if you have the latest drivers. The Intel video chipsets are just not made for games.

Its not malicious. Running Norton I assume? Its a file thats faking something......something that Norton (nor any other AV usually) doesnt like. Many users use it and its fine.

The June 23rd installer would be the best, but if you have more questions about it, you may want to ask in the Oldblivion forum at their site, since they would have more experience with it then a lot of us here.

$20 is not much to go off on for a card that's for sure. Not that I highly suggest it or anything, but the Radeon 4350 can be had for a lowly $35:

That'll pull medium settings probably.
