Hello I am having a problem were every time I try to make a change in Oblivion.ini, and I save it, it just says access denied :brokencomputer: and I can't save the changes. I'm trying to make my fNeardistance to 3.0 instead of 10.0. Just wondering if I have to delete or download something for this to work but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

I'll repeat it here anyway.
Make sure you're editing the correct ini file. It'll be in (for Win7) User Name\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion folder. There should be no UAC issues in that folder preventing a save. If so, make sure you have Admin rights.

Do NOT edit the oblivion_default.ini in the regular Oblivion install folder.
