Hello,

Is this a known bug with Oblivion? I was wearing a suit of glass armor, including a piece called the "Tempered Greaves", which are glass greaves, with a pre-existing enchantment (I don't remember exactly how I got them - I think I might have looted them off a bandit in one of the bandit camps I went to as part of the "Repairing the Orrery" quest from the Orrery Official Plug-in.

Anyhow, I noticed today, when I put all the glass armor I was wearing into a chest in Benirus Manner in Anvil (and then reproduced the problem with the chest in the Imp. City Waterfront player-owned shack), then decided to go back and retrieve it, that the Tempered Greaves were neither in my inventory, nor in the chest. I experimented for awhile, and discovered that by using the "Take All" button in the chest inventory, I could get them back into the player inventory, so I think they technically are there, in the chest, but for some reason, do not show up in the User Interface listing of chest contents.

If need be, I can provide a save game, along with my Oblivion load order, if someone is interested in reproducing this or trying to fix it? (Is anyone still working on the Unofficial Oblivion patches?)

I believe it's a bug that appears when there's a lot of stuff in the container/inventory. As you observed, the item is still there, but it doesn't show up in the display.
