Oblivion Keeps Freezing After Starting New Game

My Oblivion keeps freezing every time I get just one second in after starting a new game. I have no idea why this keeps happening.

I just did a fresh install of Oblivion. I have no idea why this is happening.

Usually this would happen because the game cannot find resources (e.g. BSA files). Check your names of the BSA files as per http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1146727-relz-fcom-convergence-and-ufcom/page__st__20__p__16769317__hl__haegintrenaming__fromsearch__1#entry16769317 and rename as necessary.

Better to post any further questions in the dedicated FCOM / UFCOM thread. Also check the opening post there, it will give you the link to the latest WarCry version which you have not yet installed. ;)

Start by getting rid of OBGE and the Frans time rescale (use Wrye bash to set). Check that Frans and MMM bsa files are named correctly starting with FCOM_Convergence_ (see the FCOM thread for the actual names) like Tommy suggested.
