As for my story, I first made Orc-Blivion as a class project for Video Editing. I ended up not even using it since it mostly appeals to people who have played the game. In stead, I uploaded it to YouTube and shared it with the people on this forum. Suprisingly, the absolute craziness of the video was enjoyed by many, and because of the response from people on this forum, it has a high rating and has received over 10 thousand views per episode. For a while now, I've been dabbling in other videos and going to school full time, but I will be making an Episode 7. I make these things for free as a hobby, and I am glad that people like them for the most part.

RaditzTheRadish and LordofCorruption have also been busy at work making Oblivion quest parodies. Personally, I think their videos are hilarious, and encourage you to watch them and subscribe. Both are very talented editors of farcical Oblivion videos. We now have some relatively newcomers here: MetaDarkness and Incogneatus. Their videos are also hilarious.

We all enjoy making these videos, and there is still much of the game to make fun of.
Suggestions, comments, and ideas are always welcome, as they tend to help us in that process. Plus, they're fun to read.

Hahaha. Good stuff man. I've seen your videos a while back but it's been a while and they're still absolutly hilarious. Thanks for sharing the other video as well. Those are extremely funny too. Great stuff.

Out of all these videos, I really just like Orc-Blivion, because it does the weirdest, whackiest messing with NPC dialogue and makes them say the most impossible stuff. Quest parodies and NPC gibberish makes me laugh, but I'm sooo tired of the ever-repeating "insanely dumb character punches random NPCs in the face" and TCL ragdoll crap. Really, it's fun to watch in a little video or two, but that's where it ends for me. It's been overdone ad nauseam and it's not getting any better after you've already seen it a thousand times.

EDIT: On a little side note, I was amazed by your A-Ha parody. Not because I thought it was funny or anything, but because there was a really high artistic level to it.

Your the guy that did 'Oblivion Rumours Improved' right? I actually nearly passed out after seeing the Breton one.

If I'm not working tomorrow, I definitely need to take a look at that. Truthfully, I don't know how reliable I'll be. Just a few months ago, I was really into giving the voice acting thing a shot. It was fun, but it's also hard work sometimes, and I might have just got burnt out for a while. I do think it's getting to the point where we need some voice acting though. That and some writing/forethought (at least with my series, that is).

What I found as a major deterrent to the humor in the videos was the pacing; too often does the camera just sit for several seconds on some ones face, with no dialog and no action. And some of the voice editing isn't that great -- words get cut off abruptly, that sort of thing. Anyway, as far as constructive criticism goes: you need to work on the pacing, keep things moving. You have to grab your audience's attention right away, and keep your viewers hooked.

I knew it! Some of what you said is valid, however, pacing and dialogue depends on the style of the machinima. It's a question of style, not quality.

I guarantee most people make those take a prejudiced stance and make critical observations before watching them anyway. For a regular youtube viewer, it's understandable there wouldn't be enough interest or motivation to watch an entire clip let alone the whole series. If we made a half-life or halo machinima with the same script, we'd probably get more viewers saying "LOL THATS FUNNY" but it wouldn't make it fundamentally better or worse.
