Is it installed properly? I'm on Win7 and it works just fine.

Is your OB install in C:\Program Files\ ?

I meant if obmm is installed properly.

You might want to do a reinstall somewhere else. Vista and Win7 are really fussy about stuff being in Program Files. Installing on a different partition is better.

Agreed. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Windows_Vista for more information.

Did you install the manual installation of OBMM, or the automatic installer version?
Also, can you let us know what directory Oblivion was specifically installed to? I know you said you moved it from Program Files directory, but where you re-installed it to specifically would be useful info. Thanks

EDIT - Just to encourage you a bit, I have Oblivion running fine with OBMM installed using Windows 7 64bit Ultimate. I have Oblivion installed in D:\Games (D: is a partition) So, in your case, may I suggest C:\Games as a good default install location unless you have a different partition you would prefer.

err wait, did you install Microsoft Net.Framework 2.0?

Per instructions on TESNEXUS...
Requires .NET 2.0 (The installer will offer to download it for you if it detects that it is not installed.)

Not sure if Windows7 requires a different version, it was so long since I installed mine that I can't remember if I was prompted to install .netframework 2.0 or not.
It could be that Windows7 has a higher version of .netframework but OBMM is soley dependent on the 2.0 version. Just to be sure, I would re-install it.
