Oblivion PS Move Support (Pole)

Post » Thu Oct 28, 2010 1:31 pm

I believe a patch to enable Move Support would just be utter bliss. It would blend extremely well with current gameplay and take oblivion to the next level. The more I play Gladiator on Sports Champions the more I just imagine the great potential if this were applied to Oblivion.

I realize that this would be no easy task (Or perhaps it isn't that hard to implement anyways) and will require work to do. Perhaps Bethesda simply doesn't have any more time to waste with the Elder Scroll Series right now, but if it were done I don't think I would be playing anything else for a long long time.

For those who Don't know what the playstation move is. Here are some links to check out.

Can't be bothered to read about game stations as I think they're crap. Good luck with getting Bethesda back working on Oblivion =)

I would not want Oblivion changed into the kind of game that would benefit from this.

No, because there would be no point to stopping production on whatever their current game(s) are, to add support to some gimmick that only a few people would use.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Oblivion doesn't need Move Support.

I'm sad to see people don't realize how awesome this is and those comparing this to the Wii obviously have no clue what the Move is or how it works. Perhaps those who are voting no simply haven't tried the move out, don't want to spend the cash on it and thus don't care to see it implemented. However, if by some divine chance it were done, I assure all you nay sayers it would be amazing.

Now I understand those voting no because its highly unlikely that this would happen or because it would take time away from another tittle but those saying no because they think its a gimmick or that it would just be lame are sadly mistaken.

Bethesda would be more likely to release the offical DLC for PS3 than allow Move compatability.

Bethesda has been done with Oblivion since 2007, and with Fallout 3 since 2009. They are most likely working on TESV.

I think it would be pretty rad, but not with Oblivion. They're done with that, and as was said before, it will stop production of TES:V (we hope!!!). SO Move for TES:V might be plausible, and not too bad. Alas, I'll most likely be a PC player, so never try it anyways.

Hell no, I wouldn't want that. Then see people complain when the calibration is off, and see many threads on this.

I can say from personal experience that calibration in any move game has never been an issue.

I doubt that at the moment you wrote that you had even tried the Move.

I also should have made the vote about TES V but since there is no telling when that will come out I made it on TES IV. On that note I feel confident that we will see move support on the PS3 in TES V.

That is all.
