Yes I've been rediscovering the music of Oblivion lately. With headphones its like the mind drinking audio wine.

I had not believed such a day would dawn, that ToJKa wouldn't be able to think of something in Skyrim to complain about!
I have a slight feeling the last pool is a teeny bit biased!
Just a feeling, though!
But yeah, I do prefer Oblivion's exploration and town music.
Combat themes are way better in Skyrim, however.
Ha my thoughts exactly. While Oblivions music does hold a special nostalgic place in my heart (namely the theme) Sovngarde and a few other Skyrim songs are more my speed and much more epic IMO
The music from all 3 games is great. But I think Skyrim's music is better than Oblivion's.
But it's not by much.
Dragonborn
The Streets Of Whiterun*
Journey's End
The City Gates
Solitude
Watch The Skies
Far Horizons
One They Fear
* Quite possibly my favorite track in all of Elder Scrolls music
Not only those listed, but there's tons of other great pieces of music as well.
Meanwhile, Oblivion has notably:
Reign of the Septims
Harvest Dawn
Through The Valleys
King & Country
Auriel's Ascension*
Wings of Kynareth
Alls Well
Watchman's Ease
Sunrise of Flutes
Dusk At The Market
* Another on my list of favorite Elder Scrolls tracks
It's certainly close.
My Oblivion list is a little longer, but I like the Skyrim tracks better than the Oblivion tracks. Skyrim has more songs that I didn't list that I like as well.
I just think that on the whole, Jeremy Soule has made some incredible scores of these games. I love 'em all.
