I got Oblivion for Christmas and when I installed it it has not worked. Whenever I try to play it it shows the opening movie but then goes to a black screen and crashes, setting my computers graphics settings to its lowest setting in the process. Every once in a while it goes to a loading screen but freezes there. I have tried so many things to fix it but nothing works. I don't think it's a hardware issue since its Windows 10 and Skyrim runs beautifully. I've heard nothing but good things about this game and I'd love to be able to play it. Any suggestions?


Also, would a mod to make it look like Skyrim help make it work since that game works so well?
