Oblivion:Official Add-Ons

Post » Sun Jan 19, 2014 7:53 am

Isn't it about time that the DLC Fighter's Stronghold, Horse Armour pack, Mehrunes razor, Orrery, Spell tomes, Thieves den, Vile Lair, Wizard's tower be offered for free download already? Well I do. With the plethora of mods available making them somewhat obsolete it would be a nice of you guys.

I understand that NOTN and SI are expansion packs but come on Bethesda, do the right thing and release the other 8 add-ons please :D

What does everyone else think?

The DLC aren't 'somewhat obsolete' to users of XBox and PS3. I doubt that we will ever return to the days of Morrowind, when Bethesda gave us official mods for free.

Personally, I don't think any new updates are going to happen with Oblivion. I doubt it will become a free game, not for the next few decades at least.

He only said the addons should be free.

I dont know what to think, its nice to have them for free i guess. but they're really bigger than the ones Morrowind have for free on the official website. so thats not a fair comparison.

Horse Armor and Spell Tomes should be for free in my opinon....

the rest... well i don't know (and honestly don't care), some of them are nice dungeoncrawl, but nothing good modder isn't capable off.

SI and KOTN is absolutely other story..... these are great work and should keep some of their price.

I have a disc for OB, one for SI and another that has KOTN and all the DLC except Battlehorn Castle (the disc was released before that DLC was available).

So I don't have Battlehorn Castle. I don't care much about paying a little for it, but I would simply kinda like to have it - without opening a Steam account that I don't need for anything else. I know there are plenty of quality castle mods available, but still. . . .
