Oblivion Overhaul Project (Mod List Collection)

Hello everyone, I have been so disappointed with Oblivion that I decided that I just wouldnt play anymore... There were so many glitches and poorly made functions that truly enjoying the game seems to be impossible after a while. Then it occurred to me that there is an entire community of people who spend lots and lots of time trying to make everything better...

I have spent a great deal of time trying to find the kinds of things that I am looking for and came to the conclusion that I simply dont have time to spend hours at a time day after day trying to find the right material... So, if people in the community who spend lots of time here and surely know there way around better than I could help me find the kinds of things that I am looking for I would be deeply grateful...

The first thing I am looking for is glitch fixing... I have been grieved time and time again by glitches that just ruin the game. For example I made an entire set of equipable items all enchanted with featherweight. I was above 1,100 in carry weight and could haul massive amounts of loot around. Then for some reason that I cant explain the enchantment simply stopped working... Not just this or that item, but the whole class itself, I simply couldnt use featherweight anymore because the items just stopped working... Its the seemingly little things that are the most painful to endure...

After getting the whole game fixed up and running correctly I would like to see all kinds of better graphics and sounds. From what I hear the game was actually released incomplete, apparently there was a massive amount of data corruption before the release that the were not able to recover from, so the game that we have is actually a husk of what it should have been... I would like to see more crisp realistic plants and objects (wood, stone, metal) and new bodies and faces, I honestly cant believe that the faces were considered acceptable for the vanilla game, they are not only not attractive, but in many cases they are just ugly...

I would also like to see if the engine can be modified... I find the psychs to be very crude and unrealistic, if a mod exists that changes the way that you walk, run, jump, to make it more smooth and realistic that would be great. Also if at all possible I would like to see open cities, I know in Skyrim there was a mod that made the two cells into one and when the gates opened you could just walk on through, I think that would make the game really great especially for times when you are being chased by guards, and maybe have a situation where the guards lock the gates when they see you being chased and you have to try and slip by somehow....

Something else that I was feeling is that the game was very empty. Sure NPCs would go about a daily routine but it just wasnt enough for me. Also the stupid conversations that dont make sense really annoyed me in the market district... I would like to see stuff like 'immersive patrols' in Skyrim where people come and go and have random events take place on the roads and in towns. In fact the population of the game seems very small in general, cyrodiil is supposed to be the capital of the whole empire, think about Rome in all its glory, people from everywhere went to roam to conduct business of some kind, while the imperial city on the other hand feels more like a small village than a real 'mega-city'.

Something that greatly offended me was the level lists... Making the game so that NPCs and weapons/armor got better as you go better really destroyed the game for me, I found myself grinding to level 20 before I did my first quest for special items, which absolutely destroyed the rule playing value of the game... I guess in general I would like to see just more realism period...

Finally, a great deal more weapons and armor and other stuff that makes the game feel more like actual craftsmanship is taking place instead of feeling like its all one big arcade game...

Beyond that I leave it up to people who know better than I do of whats out there and what can make the game better. Again, I just dont have the time to spend doing this all myself and if I could get help on this it would mean so much to me...

Thanks in advance...
