Ahoy there sailors, another nautical question:

Why can the Abecean Sea be treacherous for seamen?

Piracy? I read that in-game, IIRC.

:D After you fit up Pirate's Cove I suppose so, but I'm thinking of a more...."natural" phenomenon.

Naked pirates? :confused:

Or perhaps the Maelstrom of Bal?

If that's right, the floor is open. Bed time for me. :)

94 damage normally, in sneak mode this would be more of course. I'd wager that this has a good chance, though.

Although doesn't melee have much greater sneak bonuses? Need to do some calculations...

1H/H2H = 6x damage sneak mod
2H = 1x damage sneak mod
Bow = 3x damage sneak mod

(These are the max values)

Terra, thanks for your input, but...
6. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM If you have a question about the rules or about anything that is not Quiz related, please refrain from posting it in this thread because it will make the moderators grumpy.

Getting tired of quoting this rule...

Also, in order to confirm my answer, an excerpt from 'The Doors of Oblivion':
"... The whirlpool in the Abecean called the Maelstrom of Bal can make ships disappear, and may be a portal into Oblivion, but the trauma of riding its waters would surely slay any who tried."

My question:
In what cave are you guaranteed to find a helmet enchanted with Detect Life? (Hint: It's a quest-related cave.)

The Plague of Fear from the K'Sharra (sp) Prophecy.

Although the actual phrasing itself is from The Black Horse Courier issue on it.

Maybe I should have phrased it better, but that's what I was going for :turtle:

Crushed by a boulder thrown at him by an ogre?

Lordy Lordy, I'm gonna have to give this to Sentenza; his spine was crushed but the wolf wound reopened and he likely bled to death;

"I think the boulder shattered my spine. I can no longer feel my legs. My wound from the wolf attack has reopened and I have lost much blood...I can no longer walk and my strength is draining."

:turtle: to Sentenza. And half a :turtle: to Chriso

Meh, my answer was a little vague, but I'm impressed seeing as it has been so long. Thanks for the turtle! :P

Hope I'm not being premature but it's been long enough since the answer was confirmed :)

What is significant about standard Orc names and why?

Watchu talkin' bout retroy? Sentenza is the turtle holder.

As for Orc names; given name, gro for males, gra for females, last name.

Correct!

And I just figured since Sentenza said "feel free to ask the next question in my name" that he wouldn't be sticking around.
