The Amulet of Kings?

Or more accurately, the red diamond at its centre.

Yup, either/or. Some texts describe it as one, some describe it as the other.

In any case, your :turtle:.

How'd the first count of Chorrol get the job?

"For his heroism at Pale Pass, Kantus Jeril was appointed the first Count of Chorrol."

I knew that question rang a bell. :)

Imperial Prison Sewer
* The North Tunnel (1st hall on the right when entered from North Exit) (it was 35, this one isn't potted) ;)

Here's another one:
"A foursquare table shall be placed in the center of the room, with a dish to receive the morpholith. Four censers shall be prepared with incense compounded from gorvix and harrada. On the equinox, the mechanic shall then place the morpolith in the dish and intone the rites of the Book of Law, beginning at dawn and continuing without cease until the sunset of the same day."

To what is this referring, and what's the next step?

Its from the bOok "Liminal Bridges" about travels inbetween Mundus and OB. Next step would be to present the Morpholith to a Daedra Lord for inscription

I didn't ask where that was from, I asked what it was referring to (making a Sigil stone, or specifically, purifying the stone for inscription).

:turtle: is available.

Shady Sam, Rowly Eardwulf, and Thoronir of the Copious Coinpurse before you finish the Marketplace quest concerning how he is able to make his prices so low. :)

I'm also pretty sure Nordinor, the Skooma Dealer, will buy anything.
