[WIPZ/RELZ] Oblivion resources conversion

Hello,

I'm currently working on a massive Oblivion resource conversion to Morrowind.
Actually, Momo, sinHHHans and Koniptions have allowed me to convert their work.
Note that I don't use Oblivion stock textures when they are used by a resource, but look for an alternative.

Already available :
- Momos palm resource http://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/morrowind/mods/ressources_communes/palmiers_de_momo.php and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40934.
- Momos Basket Resource http://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/morrowind/mods/ressources_communes/paniers_de_momo.php and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41052.
- Momos Crane Ressource http://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/morrowind/mods/ressources_communes/grues_de_momo.php

I'm currently working on the amazing Koniptions Kreations Resource - Tropical.
It is the pack that was used to create Elsweyr-Desert of Anequina flora.
(Koniption told me not to use a few of his models as they use stock Oblivion meshes, but the rest is OK).

I've also found a nice orchids and carnivorous plants resource, and am actually trying to find a way to contact the author, Andy.

I'm always for more resources being introduced to Morrowind, and in my experience, most Oblivion modders are cool with their stuff being converted.

Looking forward to what you come up with!

There's a lot of nice resources out there for Oblivion, so I'm also looking forward to these conversions. :foodndrink:

All of momos stuff would come in handy, farms, cranes , crates ,carts, blacksmith, houses etc

i did the fishing ones by momo too, expect for the decapitated fish (because i thought some where vanilla OB meshes) so i'll keep a look out if you finish i off!

also, watchout with sinHHans flora.. alot of it is vanilla edits. (moslty textures and mushrooms :( )

Thanks. I'm aware of the problem with sinHHans flora (same for a lot of momo's resources) and browsed through Nexus to find alternatives.

First I checked Vurts Landscape & Flora Retexture and found... one of the 42 textures I was looking for. <= Vurt game me his authorization.
Then I looked through QTP3 and found 29 textures.
Koldorns have made a slaughterfish retexture that I can use in the fishery resource.
qwertyasdfgh made HiRes Pewter where is one of the needed texture. <= permission to use it in other games is given in the TesNexus profile of the mod.

If these modders agree for the use of their work, I'll need to find these textures, or have someone make them for me :

- textures\clutter\calcinatornovice01.dds
- textures\clutter\ingredservantspie02.dds
- textures\clutter\lowerclass\ceramiccupbottom.dds
- textures\creatures\horse\tack.dds
- textures\plants\treeroots01.dds
- textures\plants\groundcovertigerlily01su copy.dds
- textures\plants\croptobacco01.dds

For the meshes :
I think I know where to find alternate mushroom meshes.
All I need now is an alternate model for morning glory (I know that it may also be useful for the Province : Cyrodiil mod).


Anyway, despise this, things are going very well and I'll soon release a new resource pack.

Armor, helm and lilypads not included by author's request, passion flower on standby.
A very few models failed to convert properly.

Hi everyone, last news :

- I finished converting Momos Crane Resource, I will upload it tomorrow.
- Koniptions Exotic Flora is done, I need to check if everything is ok ingame and I'll upload it as well in a few days.
It is too bad that I don't know how to convert an animated meshe. The sea urchins would have been a nice resource.
- For sinHHHans flora it is all done, I will now double check every mushroom with the basic Oblivion meshes to be sure that no Bethesda resource will be used.
- Momos Fishery Resource make use of a lot of Oblivion meshes. I'm not sure if it is worth to release the few meshes that remains.
- I was not able to find a way to contact Andy. I will start to convert his beautiful orchids and carnivorous plants after I finished the other packs. As for every conversion I've made, he will receive full credits for his work.
Next resource after all these will probably be Momos Cart.

Thanks for doing these, i am looking forward to a lot of the stuff you are planning on converting. Please release what you can of the fishery resource even if only a few models which is better than nothing
