Hello everyone,

I have a box version of TES 4 - Oblivion and Shivering Isles. And i would like to activate them on my steam account. Suddenly there are no CD keys or any other actiavtion keys inside of these boxes so it seems i have no chance how to activate them at all could you please help me share you experiences to solve this case? Is there any form at the gamesas sites, which i could fill in with all necessary information on DVDs (serial numbers of DVDs) which could - after confirmation - provide me some Activation key?

The retail version of Oblivion does not need Steam so I am 99% sure that means you will not be able to activate them on Steam sorry.

You just insert the disk into your computer and install it from there, no cd-key required.

the point is, that i don't want to keep those DVD by my self since I'm travelling so much steam seems to be great solution for me ...

Well I cant help you sorry, someone else on the forum may be able to or there might be a solution on Google.

But as far as I am aware you cannot activate a retail version of Oblivion on Steam.

Now would be a fantastic time to get it on Steam, if that's what you'd like - it is marked down tremendously for the next 18 hours or so.

He seems to think that he can "activate" his "retail" copies on "steam".

I thought consoles don't need to deal with Steam? :confused: Seriously, I've never heard of such a thing; then again, I'm learning new stuff about the world of Steam everyday.

I don't think anybody mentioned consoles. Unless I'm terribly mistaken the OP is talking about the PC version.

You're right. I thought the OP said he had an Xbox version of TES4, not a "box" version. My mistake.
