That's right, Oblivion was first released on this day six years ago.

I plan to start a new game to celebrate. A new game seems like a good way to celebrate a game's anniversary.

I think to commemorate this day, I will take Rodrigo on the Orange Road from Bruma to Chorrol for a healthy round of bear tumbling. (which means paralyzing the bear at the top of a rise or cliff, then firing a huge fireball at its feet, then watching it launch off the cliff.) :dance:

Though I only got it on the PS3 release day, in April 2007. I just ordered the PC version yesterday too. I'm bored and want to play a modded Oblivion, because Skyrim just depresses me.

Morrowind will be 10 in May as well!

Time goes by quick anymore. First playing the game I ran 640*480 and it looked like the game was cel shaded with a green glow. Luckily Oblivion is like me and has gotten better looking with age. :biggrin:

Happy release day, Oblivion! :celebration:

I celebrated by installing brand-spanking-new updates for a number of Unique Landscapes mods, rebuilding my Bashed Patch and running TES4LODgen. Can't get much for festive than that! Might wake Decrepit later to turn in gathered taxes and maybe treat Vilja to a formal dinner out at one of the Imperial City eateries.

Wow, good catch, Wyrd. I think a lot of us might have missed this one. I've only been exploring Cyrodiil for 3 years, 4 months, but it's always been a pleasure.

I'm in Skyrim with Crystal Beth tonight, and unfortunately I only have so much time to game before I have to get organized for the next day and stuff.

But I did plenty of gaming with EradiKate the Vampire the other day.

I think I remember the story that went along with this, how Wyrd can be very persuasive to those who haven't tried the game.
