Try summoning a Daedra Lord during a thunder storm, and you'll find out. She looks a lot more like a well-to-do Imperial gentleman than she used to, but s/he does believe that some things are traditional for a reason. Especially when it comes to tea parties, so you'd best not forget to bring the mudcrab cakes.

Or else.

And, in a side-real conglomerate universe, where each guild gets a "hero" but only one actual Hero completes the main quest, that I've decided to mentally create as my TES "canon":

My Bosmer Thieves Guild character eventually retired in a nice place in Colovia, setting aside the Gray Cowl unless he felt some noble was getting particularly uppity, and is completely off the record by the time Titus Mede has settled into power.

My Argonian Dark Brotherhood Listener eventually gives up control of the DB (read: is chased away from it at risk of her life), deciding to focus her attentions towards the Crimson Scars (believing the original founder had the right idea in the first place). Since she's a vampire, she's theoretically immortal, but I'm pretty sure by Skyrim, she exists only as an urban legend Leyawiin mothers tell their children to keep them from laughing at the Argonian beggars; a hero likely killed her decades if not a century or more prior.

My mage will be a descendant of my Oblivion character.

My Oblivion character (a crusader named by the name Coronius), upon tracking a murderer, ventured into a tomb where powerful black magic and necromancy was performed. After fighting his way passed Liches and other powerful undead, he found the murderer's body. While down there he discovered a sarcophagus that stood out from the rest, his curiosity got the better of him and he opened the sarcophagus to investigate. Inside was the skeleton of a necromancer, he was clutching a book of necromancy. Coronius, decided that the best course of action would be to remove the book (so it wouldn't end up in the wrong hands) and take it to the Arcane University so they could decide it's fate.

After a few days Hannibal Traven contacted the Champion of Cyrodill at midnight and took him to his quarters where they could talk in private. He explained what the book was and the power the necromancer in the tomb had possessed. Upon opening the sarcophagus, Coronius had been cursed, he was told that on the seventh night after opening the tomb the necromancer (now a Lich) would return and take the life of Coronius and all of his loved ones. There was no way Coronius could fight his way out of this one, the only way he could lift the curse was to take his own life, taking the curse with him. Coronius, with a wife and three children decided that this was the best course of action, so that his family had a future.

Four massive slaver rings extended their operations into Cyrodil; one from Black Marsh, two from Morrowind, and one from Elsweyr. The Cyrodillic Ring took offense to this and started a war with each of them, while the others also were fighting each other for dominance over the slave market. This war resulted in most slave-grabbing attempts being rendered unsuccessful on each side either due to the Imperial Legion killing or arresting the slavers, or at the hands of one or all the other rivals trying to take the slaves for themselves.

After three years of fighting, each of the five rings formed an alliance; one year later, they merged and set a single base of operations deep in the Valus Mountains. The Imperial Legion had difficulty whiping them out after this, let alone preventing or stopping their activities. The Legion decided to resort to hiring mercenaries and any locals willing to fight to help destroying the ring, as opposed to just pushing them out; I was part of the battles, aiding the Legion.

In what was the final battle, we were at their base. I infiltrated in hopes to assassinate the five ring leaders; killed two but the last three overwhelmed me; one of their maces driven into my ribs as the another shattered my right elbow with their warhammer. Realizing I was one who protected Martin Septim and defeated Mehrunes Dagon, they chose to take me hostage for negotiations. Not long afterwards, the Legion broke through the doors. I was being held as a shield with a knife to my throat and, when the General saw this, they actually began negotiating with the slavers to allow their freedom for my life. To this, I took my own life; I ran back, pushing my captor into the wooden door and driving my blade through the both of us. I lived long enough to see the Legion kill the other two. The organization later completely crumbled and Cyrodill became relatively slaver-free.

Hmm you got me thinking about that, friend.

Well, My Character was kind of top dog of everything, he met a nice girl who he married, and they had a kid, (Insert name here), who no one believe would be the Dragonborn, but it turns out his mother was a Dragonborn as well.

Now, you're probably wondering how she and he died. You see, my character turned his back on the dark brotherhood, and they didn't like that, they came in and murdered my oblivion characters wife, so he swore vengence, he blasted in to the cheydinhal dark brotherhood and killed everyone he saw, but they had traps, they knocked him out, and tied him to a post, and he was killed in a firing line.

You know what the best part is? I just made this all up on the spot and I actually really like it, thanks OP :D

Please ignore the supposed "Troll" Thread that was recently posted. It was literally a mis understanding, and i was not trolling.

I am truly in love with Skyrim, and was not making fun of people hyping, cause i am the worst at hyping.

Anyways, what has happened to your Oblivion character since Skyrim?

I have a bad feeling people ignored everything i just wrote and i am going to get banned.

My oblivion character conquered the game and is waiting for SKyrim. It will be a great ride with the game, dlcs and mods. Good gaming fun ahead. I've been a Bethesda customer since Arena

He became God of Madness and created two bloodlines, branching from the Mazkin and Aureals to create a string of demigods that would eventually dwindle in number due to warring with each other. Only two survived and made a truce to mate and create a Mazreal-Spawn-of-Madgod, who then marries a Nordic woman and impregnates her with the dragonborn, who was given the soul of a dragon because of his ancestor's exploits and role in the Oblivion Crisis. His father then joins the Stormcloaks, remaining a member for 20 years until he is captured and executed by the Imperial Legion. with this knowledge, my Dovahkin (have yet to name him) intends to ally with the Stormcloaks to avenge his father. He has a penchant for Dunmer girls and hates Imperials and Argonians

He took a potion that made him fall asleep in his current age, was frozen in time and when he woke up, his body was transported near the limits of Skyrim and this is how he became a prisoner.

He drank a potion to make himself immortal at the age of 26. He has stayed that way since. Recently he was caught crossing the border and is now off to his execution. :celebration:

Heh, with three years and 750 hours behind her, and playing almost daily, my character has risen to Journeyman in her guild of mages. She is almost prepared to help Savlian Matius close that Obviion Gate at Kvatch. Maybe someday, when she grows weary of Cyrodiil, she'll venture to Valenwood. Then possibly even Skyrim. :foodndrink:

After the oblivion crisis my pc ran to Anvil and took the notes of that lich inside your house anvil and improved the formula to make you immortal like vampire except without needing blood to drink or sunlight affects. After drinking the potion of immortality he started a family, but soon that family grew into clan full of gifted mages, warriors and Assassins. All of them had affinty to life energy that made them stronger or faster or give them almost unlimited mana or control nature itself. While my pc love his clan a lot he give the title of leader to his first born generation of childeren and left to explore Akvair. Also just tell you guys my dragonborn comes from this clan.

I had many Oblivion characters, let me give a brief outline to what fates they met:

There's http://i42.tinypic.com/21jmys5.jpg, my Champion of Cyrodiil, who ended the Oblivion Crisis with Martin. After those events, she retired to Battlehorn Castle, fell into depression, contemplated suicide, but then had her castle invaded by an army of undead, lead by another character of mine, a female Imperial vampire, who killed Nona and captured her soul in a special soul gem. It is worth noting that Nona is the reincarnation of Saint Alessia (though she did not know this.)

As far as my vampire woman goes. She's still alive, and plans on visiting Skyrim eventually...

http://i40.tinypic.com/10oi2rm.jpg, a Breton woman, became the Gray Fox, and wore the Cowl of Nocturnal as the leader of the Thieves Guild for a very long time. During these times, she also re-established the Dunburrow Pirates, and brought them back from obscurity. Eventually, age began catching up to Andreil, and she passed the Cowl down to an up-and-coming thief. She continued to sail and pillage with the Dunburrow Pirates for a few more years before dying of natural causes. Her crew buried her at sea.

http://i39.tinypic.com/25pihc5.jpg, the timid Bosmer adventurer, obtained a great deal of power and knowledge from Nenalata. She obtained the Ten Ancestors for Umbacano, then tricked him by giving him the Crown of Lindai instead of the Crown of Nenalata. Ariane donned the Crown of Nenalata and crowned herself the new http://i41.tinypic.com/210etdz.jpg. Afterward, she set out to restore the Ayleid ruins to the massive cities they once were. With little support, and with many who would try to stop her from achieving her goals, Ariane was ultimately unsuccessful. She vanished several years later and has not been seen nor heard from since.

http://i39.tinypic.com/nczcrl.jpg, the Redguard woman, started off in Morrowind, searching for her own beliefs as she studied the various cults and religions of Tamriel from the inside. After the Tribunal fell, Dhalomine studied the Daedric cults. She found herself inexplicably drawn to Sheogorath, and even completed a task for him, but found the Daedra as a whole to be unfavorable, and attempted to move to the Imperial cult, and proceeded to Cyrodiil. While in Cyrodiil, she eventually ended up uncovering the Knights of the Nine. With them, she defeated Umaril the Unfeathered and was named Holy Crusader. Shortly after this, she heard a calling from Niben Bay. There, she found a door to the Shivering Isles. She entered that door and never returned.

http://i43.tinypic.com/t0orh4.jpg, the Breton woman, joined the Mage's Guild. Her curiosity eventually lead her to Necromancy, despite the ban on it in the guild. As Zoey continued to study deeper and deeper into Necromancy in private, she fought against the Necromancers of Mannimarco. Eventually, Zoey defeated Mannimarco, as well as became a great and powerful Necromancer. Her curiosity lead her elsewhere after she became the Arch-Mage and re-instated Necromancy. Zoey would eventually uncover the secrets of Lichdom, and http://i44.tinypic.com/xfrrsy.jpg. This proved disasterous for the people of Cyrodiil, and though Zoey was able to hide her Lichdom through heavy usage of Illusion and the cooperation of certain guild-mates, she was eventually banished from the Guild and chased out of Cyrodiil. Zoey's exact location is currently unknown.

I have two active characters, http://i40.tinypic.com/vr7gqo.jpg and http://i44.tinypic.com/ev59vt.jpg, both of which are still alive and going through their stories. I doubt Gwen will ever meet an official end, but Luca might. Time only knows!

mantled a god or something, Rohan was weird like that.

Its actually strange because i have a cannon character for each quest line. Roran was a battle mage who defeated some super necromancer, hung out with an emperor, walked the path of pelinal, and championed sheo a second time.

my khajit hunter became the best thief in tamriel, and retired happily ever after in skingrad

My dark brotherhood assassin became a vampire and chilled forever with his new "family"

I think the fighters guild is sorta boring so i handed the honor of being guild master to bolrock the orcish adventurer. He probably died of old age
