Oblivion - Skyrim

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 4:37 am

Please ignore the supposed "Troll" Thread that was recently posted. It was literally a mis understanding, and i was not trolling.

I am truly in love with Skyrim, and was not making fun of people hyping, cause i am the worst at hyping.

Anyways, what has happened to your Oblivion character since Skyrim?

I have a bad feeling people ignored everything i just wrote and i am going to get banned.

He literally died of boredom from wandering around the almost empty wilderness of Cyrodill, only occasionally having bandits in glass armour to slay.He now rests in peace and his successor is ready to rid the world of dragons.

Most of them have probably died, seeing as 200 years have passed.
The elves may still be around, but...

My character is safe and sound, resting on the savegames backup dvd :D I don't play the game any more, but I imagine my hunter is now retired in the beautiful city Chorrol.

Old age. Except the Dark Elf, she was assassinated.

Seriously, though, I consider each character's story to take place in an isolated branch of the storyline which ends the moment I stop playing the character. So I don't think that anything happened to them; they no longer exist.

Halthor died. He was dead-dead-deadsky hundreds of years before Skyrim, since he was a human

I don't really do the 'dream up his story after' thing; its not like I stopped playing him (I haven't yet- mods are a great thing) but he would have eventually gone home to Skyrim and probably gotten killed as an old man who didn't want to admit his age and still thought he could do anything. Probably was betrayed and killed as the Blades were hunted down; every hero eventually dies. I imagine he was tricked into something or other and the wolves got him- or at least, that was what the guards told everyone.

But if I mod Skyrim at all, I'll probably mod his tomb, and that would be cool I think.

TES2- went to Yokuda to investigate strange sightings from that region (suspected that some powerful illusion spell might be involved and that Yokuda is mostly intact)
TES3- went to Akavir (mostly canon)
TES4- also went to Akavir to look for Nerevar, went through Black Marsh leaving trail of dead lizards behind (after becoming Madgod he never was the same- he basically became Tamriel Joker with sick and violent sense of humor)
I somehow suspect that during fight between Nerevar and Madgod Akavir was ruined

My Oblivion character had a child who he named Rhaashibara who inherited the Gray Fox title from his father and ran the Thieve's Guild in a more ruthless and savage manner. The penalty for killing someone while on a job was removed completely and the Thieve's Guild became a well known and feared organization, and was even supposedly to blame for the destruction of the Dark Brotherhood in Cyrodiil for dispersing vital information on all top members of the Brotherhood. The Thieve's Guild remained this way until the assassination of Rhaashibara and the 'mysterious' disappearance of the Gray Fox. However Rhaashibara had a daughter, who restored the Thieve's Guild to how it was. The Bloodline continues until we meet our Hero, Dar'Rhaashii who was caught attempting to cross the border between Cyrodiil and Skyrim in order to fence extremely high profile items.

I play Dead-Is-Dead, so...

Char #1- Fell off of Dive Rock. Adoring Fan watched as I plummet, likely with a smirk on his ugly mug.

Char #2- Died in the Arena.

Char #3- Died in the Bruma Gate.

Char #4- Committed suicide via Poisoned Apple.

Char #5- Became Sheogorath.

Char #6- Got addicted to skooma and was tossed in jail for life.

Char #7- Alchemy experiment backfired, got severely burnt. Spent the rest of his life in solitude.

Char #8 (my final character)- Decided to attack the Emperor and the Blades during the tutorial. After a heated, one-minute battle, Glenroy killed him.

My character? He ended up trying to un-summon himself back to where he came, but it kinda effed up, teleporting him through time and into Skyrim. Unfortunately he also blew up Rosethorn hall, and was sentenced to death for property destruction and chronomancy without a permit.

My Khajiit, Man-Eater was his name, had been retired in the city of Skingrad. He was sitting down about 60 years after he became CoC and met a similar fate as Baenlin did when he assassinated him during the beginning of his Dark Brotherhood career. As Man-Eater quietly sat reading a book, a large glass battleaxe fell from the wall and sliced his head open. He was found as his son came from Anvil to Skingrad wondering where he had been.

Yes... they grew up, got married, had lots of little baby khajiit/argonians/orcs/etc, lived happily ever after and died of old age. The end ;p

Thats the downside of games being 200 years apart (Unless you're an elf. Whereas you probably need to work off some pounds after slobbing around watching the arena and knocking back Skingrad ales for 200 years) - actually in fairness a couple my characters end up vampires, they'd still be around now, but, still not likely to revive them.

Pretty much this. I have one character, an Altmer, that is going to be about 400 years old at the start of Skyrim. I'm going to carry him over because Altmer are notoriously long-lived and he was not involved with any of the MQ or expansion packs, so he isn't what I would consider to be a note-worthy figure.

Everyone else is dead and gone.

Gromar went to Skyrim and sat on the highest moutain as he watched the "Gods" (Bethesda) re construct the world into a beautiful new place. He then ended his life by jumping off the moutain... he thought he had wings.... to much watching of dragons flying around i guess.
