I just thought about creatures in Skyrim and thought Deadra dragons. It sounds dumb but deadra are cool and if there was think about it's Dragon Shout. Also enhanced graphics would be cool in the Oblivion planes.

mehrunes dagon's plane of oblivion was terrible. I'd be happy if I never see it again. It's the reason I always avoid the main quest while playing oblivion. Now I wouldn't mind seeing another daedric princes pplane, but please, no more mehrunes.

Agreed, wouldn't mind exploring the other planes a bit. But Mehrunes Dagon is done.

I would have to say no to this. I never really liked the realm of Oblivion anyway.

I am always happy to visit Oblivion so long as I can return. And if it is Moonshadow, or one of Sanguines realms of Pleasure, I might NOT want to return. I certainly hope the realms of more of the Princes will at least be glimpsed in Skyrim, and not merely as "easter eggs">

Oblivion was done, and ti was boring. Now Azura's plane, Moonshadow, I wouldn't mind visiting that.

Moonshadow is a realm of Oblivion. Dagon's realm is not the whole of Oblivion, it is a realm of Oblivion, called The Deadlands.

And, as I mentioned, I too would love to see Moonshadow.

As others have said, if I never see the Deadlands it will be too soon...

But other planes? Im all for it. I hope Azura's Moonshadow is so beautiful that the colors look like an impressionist painting, everything blurring together, lacking detail, to beautiful to fully view with out mortal mind. I could endlessly read books in the Apocrypha (my current location). Seeing a world of death and [censored] that is Coldharbor would be both enchanting and scary. I'd love to see the Quagmire in action, but I don't think they could fully portray the horrors. And I'd love to visit the Soul Cairn, a great place for my necromancer to visit, perhaps his Mecca.

Certain realms would be nice. But never Deadlands, which I assume the op is referring to.

Moonshadow and Apocrypha couldn't be done justice. Not yet. Wait a few games. Apocrypha could perhaps include a mere section of the realm, but it has every single book ever created. Bethesda would need to go forward in time and know what books they're going to create.

An Oblivion plane would NOT be an easter egg >_>

Hunting Grounds! Seems the most likely given the new tree system and the fact it's Skyrim. Then again they did Hircine in Bloodmoon, but not as deep as they could go.

I don't want to visit an Oblivion plane ever again... well atleast not Mehrunes Dagons plane, I got enough of those in Oblivion. Hircines hunting grounds might be fun but i generaly like the Daedra and the Daedric princes better as visitors in Tamriel.

Any realm but Dagons.... He's dead, anyway...

Azura's would be cool! So would Hircine, and maybe Haermaus Mora.

The Quagmire and Coldharbor definately in a later game though.

Wasn't Menurus banished like any other daedra would, cast back to be reborn in the waters of oblivion?

I thought that than the dragonfires were eternally lit in order to prevent an invasion of such a scale to happen ever again.

Just one thing I think should be mentioned: There is more than one realm of Oblivion. Did you know that the Shivering Isles is also a daedric realm?

Anyway: Visiting new ealms could be fun, but maybe wait until TES:VI before they have another expansion in a realm though.

first, why are SO many people misspelling "daedra"?

they're not DEADra...

second, why the hell would there be a daedric dragon? the dragons arent related to daedra in any way as far as i know, peryite hardly counts, since daedra can take on any form they want, if peryite was a true dragon, i doubt he'd be so pathetic looking and so busy cleaning his room, or whatever.

third... i dont think skyrim should have anything to do with oblivion, especially since the seal is PERMANENT thanks to akatosh, the dragon god of time.

it would be impossible for daedra to invade, so no daedric dragons, even if they did exist.

i dont mind if the occasional daedra is seen, because they've been in TES since the beginning, i think... it'd be like taking out undead enemies... but we dont need to go traversing through the realms of oblivion in skyrim... maybe in a future game we could see more realms, but for now, we need a break from it.

I think Hircine's realm will definitely be involved in one way or another in Skyrim. Mainly due to where Bloodmoon was based.
Also Peryite's realm should be involved in Skyrim as an expansion, for it was downplayed in Oblivion in my opinion.

The Pits should be spiraling underground hell of pure slavery, with pestilence everywhere. Not some copy of the Deadlands.
Because I mean which daedric prince would make an outright copy of another's prince's realm? it makes little sense to me.

Those are my thoughts. It'd be great to do some Peryite dragon hunting in Skyrim! :happy:

A different Oblivion plane please, Mehrunes Dagon's plane was tedious and should not return in Skyrim. I would be fine with venturing into other planes through, I'd like to see Azura's or Meridia's or Mephala's.
